@blitxxx1981: Yeh, like same thing was at first with Logan. FOX wanted to make Logan PG-13, but went R rated way and it succeeded much better than it would had on PG-13. Universal just keeps making movies with PG-13 nowadays (the Mummy, FnF franchise, Despicable Me, Jurassic World etc.) which do enough at office box but could do better.
@blitxxx1981: "too dark" Universal meant as R rated movie (gore and violence everywhere) as they want to make it PG-13 or PG-17 if u saw the original movie, it's script was already dark so I don't see a point why Universal must shit in their pants about the story's tone.
How about no? Beauty and the Beast sucked. Just leave Disney universe as animated movies not cringy lined action fantasy for children to **** their minds up.
