After taking over the award shows that reward acheivements in film and TV, i decided to branch out into other categories and have fianally gained editorship of the Grammys. My trophy case is looking pretty good.

I'm really pleased to be able to thank the mods for putting me in the community spotlight this week.

For some a spotlight is just a beam of light directed on something but for the people of Tv.com it is an acheivement that acknowledges your commitment to the site and your luck (i've yet to determine which it is) and a huge honor.

As the editor for the Academy Awards, i feel it's my duty to wish Heath Ledger luck while the eyes of Tv.com are upon me, bring home the gold.

You're probably sick of these sorts of blogs so i can understand if you read it with a sense of weariness.

Christmas couldn't have come at a better time, just as i've made my 1000th submission and got my first editor position.

One of the things i'm thankful is Tv.com as it really is more than a site. I want to say thanks for my friends who've made this year fun and to the moderators who've done the opposite....jokes jokes. The moderators are the heart and soul of this site who spend hours making sure it's of the best quality for the people who are on it.

At first i was happy that i've moved on from level 25 to 26 but the emblem that comes with "Bow flex" is creepy. I'd better move on the 27 quick. Maybe the holiday season will give me heaps of submisisons. Stay cool Tv.com.

I'm a little cut that i missed the Emmy's and the launch of the new design but i guess that's life.

Well it's been a good season for me at TV.com but i'm taking a well - deserved break and heading to Europe. I'll check back in a few weeks.

My recent review on The Simpsons is the first one where i've given a show or episode the perfect 10. Out of 117 reviews; 26 for shows, 89 for episodes and 2 for people, only one is perfect in my view. It's not that i'm a harsh critic, even though i am, but it's that no other show but The Simpsons has been such a world - changing force and although it's quality has dipped slightly; it never disappoints.

Just clearing that up.
