I'll pay it if the gameplay is good but will need to see some vids of it in action firstSteJo6sic6

I was actually waiting for FF14 to come out. Was gonna pay the fee regardless. However after looking at the latest videos of FF14, it looks so boring. I can't see myself messing around the market place for hours just out of need. The leveling seems even more boring. Now I might just shell out for DCUO and skip FF14 altogether. Too bad they delayed DCUO.

maybe they will take the extra time to rethink their subscription model? Maybe all the extra time will make them see the light and make the game F2P. Now that would be well worth the wait.

Well I don't know exactly your asking because Netflix has been on the PS3 since the start of this year or late last year. All you have to do is request a Neflix straming disk and you can watch movies on your instant queue right off the ps3. I have heard rumors that they were supposed to ditch the disk and make it so that you can just access it from the xmb. Never happened yet though. As of right now we still need the Streaming disk.

ya dude do some research, they ditched the disk theyre starting to have it streamed straight into our ps3... canada already has this option... apearently other countries get it soon,, just curious when

Well **** guess i'm behind the times. Lmao. Sorry for the old info. :(

The game is set to launch in under a months time. Don't you think it would be about time that they release information on if the game is going to be Free to play or subscription based? What the heck are they waiting for launch day to catch people off guard with the fine print on the back of the case stating that a monthly fee is required?

It's definitely $14.99/month. I heard rumors of a PSPlus deal, but i don't think that was ever confirmed. I wouldn't expect that though. Giving you $180 of monthly game access for free with a $50/year discount program is completely ridiculous. I'd love that, but I might laugh for a while if they make that happen.

Yeah that just dosen't make sense to me either. Right now that $50 PSN Plus goes to sony but if they include the DCUO monthly fee into that then i'd assume that SOE would want a cut of that $50 no?

i was jst thinking, as it is a hardware problem. is it possible to take it to a electronics repair guy to fix it?? or jst rip out the thermostat or watever?? cos im really not in the mood for forking out for a new ps3oorah93

Not a bad idea. It might be cheaper to find someone that repairs PS3. I know I live in NY and I see in the papers all the time people advertising PS3/xbox/ipod etc repairs.

I'm getting so much mixed answers on the net. Some say you have to pay 15 a month, some say its free, some say its free with playstation plus. Seems like there is no real answer to the pricing. I was really looking forward to this but not at it's monthly fee. When FF14 comes out i'll definately be playing that game regardless of fee or not. \

I don't think developers notice that typical MMO fee's will translate well to consoles. Certain games I know I'll gladly pay the fee for like FF14 but not the rest of them. They should create a new model for console MMO if they want it to flourish. I think DCUO will flop on the PS3 because from what i've been reading alot of people are turned off by the monthly fee.

Oh well guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

That happened to my 60GB. It's hardware failure and you'll have to call Sony. Sorry :(Deathtransit

Call Sony? Wouldn't it be easier to sell that old broken ps3 and buy a new one? Alot of people buy broken ps3 for parts. I'm sure sony would charge an arm and a leg just to repair it, unless your still under warranty.

I am but I doubt ill play it. I don't feel comfortable paying $60 for the game then 15 a months. I mean PC owners can get the client free or pay 40ish bucks.Fightingfan

Wait you have to pay a monthly fee for Dc Universe online? I knew FF14 we were going to pay but I thought DCUO was free to play on PS3? What changed? I could have sworn I read somewhere that it was free to pay.
