Sorry, but consumers will see through this dog and pony show. Price Drop after price drop doesn't mean that your really trying to give your consumers the best value, especially when the other guys have been doing it for much longer, much better.

Plus with no software to promote the system, and the phenominal success of Halo 3 and the Wii in general, it just makes Sony look really desperate for anyone they can sucker into buying thier formerly 600 dollar turd.

Halo 3 made Bungie and MS so much money in software residuals, MS let them go..... Like I said before.. Bungie is an asset to MS now.

Same here, I started on the old Atari & Sega consoles before my parents got me an NES in 86.... I was 4 or 5...

Make sure you get a 360 with the falcon chipset...... As for the Elite I say get it if........

1. You plan on using the X-Box marketplace and Windows Media Connect(streaming audio/video from a PC)to the fullest.. You're gonna need the space for all the stuff you are gonna accumulate on there(XBLA games,exclusive game demos, movies, ect.)

2. If you plan on buying a lot of games(360 and Original X-Box titles), then you're gonna need the storage space for all of your games.... Having 120GB is a plus when you own all of the Halo and Splinter Cell(for example)games.... You can keep your game info stored of that hard drive, no problems.......

I own a 360 and I'm picking up a PS3 before the holiday season....... The thread opener is gonna regret selling in5 months.....

Haze, Metal Gear Solid 4, Eight Days Interstellar Marines, Killzone 2, Zone Of The Enders 3, God Of War 3 & PS1/PS2 backwards compatibility was enough to make me get a console...........

But you will get to play Ninja Gaiden 2, Splinter Cell:Conviction, Dog Tag..... among other titles...
