yeah the PS2 is going strong. I should not have sold mine and regret it. I only had to open it once to clean the lens and realign it other than that it was bulletproof

When devlopers have to tweak a game to run at lower-than HD resolutions to get a decent frame rate, that's not a promising sign of longevity. Halo 3 runs at 640p and CoD4 runs at 600p. Don't get me wrong, they still look good. But it is a sign that developers have already pushed the hardware to its limits and must make compromises.
I agree to some extent but you have to remember all the action that is taking place on that screen at one time in Halo and COD. I think this is more of developer issue that the machine itself. They are probably learning more everyday about the 360 and PS3 but they have to get to a point where they release a game to the best of their ability for the players.
Its a double edged sword. Because you have the PS3 which developers are still struggling to figure out how to push that machine to its full potential. By the time they get the Ps3 rockin by the end of this year it will probably be 2 or 3 years and you will have a new released console by microsoft that trumps the PS3. The most bullet proof console of all time has to be the SNES. Top loading cartridge, blow on game, lets play. I do agree with the other posters comment that they appear to be minimizing graphical display in some games to get a better game rate. Cough MLB2k8. Hopefully this is just a hiccup for the 360 and we will see games played in their meant to be HD resolution with the highest frame rate possible.
Going more futuristic is not bad but it always end up being some science fiction shooter which is something you will never find the infinity ward label attached to. I would not mind see a game where there is some levels that explores fact vs fiction like an area 51 level and so on. I could honestly be happy with modern warfare with more maps until a future release of Modern warfare 2.
YES YES YES. I cant imagine why anyone that loves this game would not buy the new maps. Well worth it. The best game on the planet will now only be better. Cant wait.
I would say just pump out another mediocre WWII game, since Infinity Ward isn't working on it.
Just let Treyarch make their WWII game, then next time around when it is Infinity Ward's turn, they can make another modern warfare.
I think if they pumped out modern shooters everytime, it would start to get stale. Especially if Treyarch makes them.

I agree. Why change the rotation when things are working so well. - COD2 (great)- Cod3 (Pretty Good) -COD4 (incredible)- COD 5 (uh well see)- COD Modern Warfare 2 ( TBA)
I once wondered the same thing. But I can tell you my 4 year old running of a DSL runs smooth and my computer needs cleaned up so you should be fine. I unplug my internet cat 5 when I am using my 360 cat 5 but I dont think this makes a difference. you can and should buya router so you can have someone online in the house when you are online with your 360.
