Sure it looks like a kids game, but once you get into the idea of being able to summon almost anything in the dictionary on demand, on your DS is kinda nice :P
Forza 3
I need this game. Now. 'nuff said. :|

from Sarcastic Gamer:
"There will be no charge for Gold Edition guns in Battlefield: Bad Company, to those that buy the regular retail package. Before we jump to the good news, keep in mind what EA told Brian Crecente, just a couple of weeks ago:
At launch, EA will release a Gold Edition of Battlefield: Bad Company which will feature an additional five new weapons. For players who do not purchase the Gold Edition of the game, they can still buy the five weapons at a small individualized price per item. All weapons are balanced for gameplay. More weapons offer players more choices but do not create an advantage/disadvantage for players who do not opt to buy new items.
Flash forward to a few minutes ago. Here's DICE setting "the record" straight.
IGN: So there's no charge for the Gold Edition guns?
Karl-Magnus: No, there's no charge for any of the guns in the game. All of the guns in the game can be achieved without purchasing them. All guns are available to everyone. However, we want to give some exclusivity to those who buy the Gold Edition. They will get the five Gold Edition weapons from Day One when they put the disc in. People that don't buy the Gold Edition can get the five additional weapons by getting to the final rank in the game. There will be a golden, shiny five-weapon unlock when they hit level 25 in the game.
You will now, instead, be able to earn those weapons FREE by achieving the maximum rank in the game.
There is no way I can describe how proud I am of this community right now. You will NEVER get the credit you deserve for helping shift this thing, and to my knowledge it is a first. But we all know where the epicenter of the outrage earthquake began.
With a couple thousand ****ed off Sarcastic Gamers. Congratulations."
Excellent!!!! Rejoice!!!!!
This is all because of the gaming community! It has FORCED EA to change it's mind!!!!! Well done to everyone who took part!!!!!!
The article below is NOT by me:
"Yes, I'm playing the Battlefield: Bad Company beta. Why? 'Cause it's free. Will I buy the game? Probably not. Why? Because once again EA is f*****g consumers that spend 60 dollars on games by charging consumers even more money to buy additional in-game weapons through XBLM.
This is my big middle finger pointed right at EA. See what I plan on doing about it, after the jump!
Turns out that all of the hub bub about EA selling additional content including extra weapons as downloadable content is all true. Here's EA's response, straight from Kotaku:
"…Battlefield: Bad Company features numerous weapons in the core game. In addition to the core set of weapons, Battlefield: Bad Company will release five unique weapons free of charge through five different promotional programs prior to launch. EA will again make these weapons available to players free of charge after launch, in case anyone missed the pre-launch promotions.

Currently, the menu in the Battlefield: Bad Company beta notes all ten weapons; the five available free of charge pre-launch as well as the additional five available in the Gold Edition.
We will have more details on the pre-launch campaign and Gold Edition of Battlefield: Bad Company in the next few weeks."
I've played almost every iteration of Battlefield since Battlefield 1942. I love the series. I love DICE as a video game company, even though they're now owned by EA. I just can't take any more of this DLC crap. Not anymore.
When are people going to wake up and realize that if you stopped buying the crap, EA would stop selling it?
On the other hand, I can't blame the fans of the games. These are really good games. Battlefield: Bad Company looks to be stellar as well. Why wouldn't you want to spend just a bit more to enhance your experience? I don't blame the fans of the game, I blame EA for exploiting them.
It's ridiculous.
How, in good conscience, can EA take more money out of fan's pockets, who have already spent 60 bucks on the game. EA has said that the game's weapons are appropriately balanced and that the new guns won't unbalance a game. If that's the case, then why buy them? What value do they even have? I'm not buying what EA is selling and you shouldn't either.
It's time to boycott EA's Battlefield: Bad Company.
I am asking Sarcastic Gamer and Gamercast Network faithful to band together to protest this despicable exploitation of the true fans of the series. If you want to send a message, post a message to EA in the comments below. If we get enough support, we'll be sending a message to people at EA, that I know for a fact, read this site."

I'm in with this. My sig and my blog picture are from this page on Sarcastic Gamer. I'm asking you to join in to. EA are charging for weapons that are already made and will be on the disc! Its such a scam. Boycott Battlefield Bad Company!!!
If you like this article and agree, then feel free to join in! Even if you have never heard of the game, or weren't even planning on buying it, there is still a very important reason to join. If you want to buy your EA games, or even games developed elsewhere with out needing to "unlock" the content already on the disc, then you should participate with this. Leave a comment on this page, visit SarcasticGamer, or, better still, put this article or your own up on your blog, website or anywhere else so people can see it. This is a test from EA to see how this will go, and it does not affect the quality of the game, or Dice, the developers, who are owned by EA. If this goes down well, and there is no resistance, then it will spread. Infinity Ward. Bungie. Bethesda. Bioware. Epic. All of these studios may decide that this is a better way to market a game and MAY use it on their future games. Fancy paying for maps, guns, vehicles, textures and sounds in the next Halo? No? Well then, my friend, you must JOIN IN WITH THE RESISTANCE!!!!!
I have only four unions now. I have resigned from the others as I don't have time to post in more than four unions at a time. The four unions I am in now are:
