Battlefield: Bad Company and Far Cry 2

The two games at the moment that I am genuinely excited about are Far Cry 2 and Battlefield Bad Company. Heres why...
~Far Cry 2~
Firstly, this game looks amazing. The graphics have been compared to Crysis on the PC version which has been shown, and the dev team said that the Xbox 360 version will be identical.
The gameplay is something special. You can choose to play as one of 13 mercinaries, but not as any of the 3 female ones (sexist), so its down to 10. You have to kill an arms dealer in africa. The special ingredient? Fire. You can burn down almost anything to cut off your enemies escape routes. The fire travels downwind, so dont stand in its path. The flimsy wooden houses are destructible, especially with vehicles. Thats in the savannah. In the jungle, all of the foliage on trees can be burnt/destroyed. And all destruction stays untill you leave the area. Nice. And its a shooter. Nice
~Battlefield: Bad Company~
One phrase: destructible everything. Whole houses can be blown away, bit by bit, and whole forests can be cut down with heavy machine guns and anti-air guns. Sniper hiding in that house? Blow up his cover with a grenade launcher and finish him off, drive through the building with a tank, OR (COD4 style) wait for him to pop up or walk into the house. Your choice. Burn down cornfields and witness the best looking explosions. Raze houses to the ground, bit by bit. Helicopter hiding behind those trees? Fire a rocket through the forest and watch it burn a path through the leaves, or use a machine gun to cut down all of the trees, then target the helicopter. Or you could play COD4 style and wait for it to leave its cover and fire a rubbish RPG at it. Again, your choice. (I am not employed by DICE to comment on this game. I genuinely like it)
