sorry, it's stronger than me :P

basically, a friend code is something you and your friend (the one you plan on playing online with) have to mutually register in order to play.

to access it, most games give it to you when you first go online, and then a "check friend code" option (or something like it) will be available, so you dont have the risk of losing it. how you add your friend's FC depends on the game, but there's usually a section in the manual dedicated to the online, explaining everything with details.
