Whenever you see things like Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4, it simply represents the different quaters of the year. There are 12 months in a year. So every three months marks another quater in the year. To put it simply:
January, February, March = Quater 1
April, May, June = Quarter 2
etc.
Hope this helps
I have a PS3 and thinking about getting a PSP cause the idea of remote play has me pretty excited about the potential this brings for the PS3. Well I read in the May issue of Game Informer that the some guy from the UK named RayMaguire mentioned a PSP might be getting re-designed but didn't mention a date on when it'll be released or how true it is. Does anybody have any infor on this??
Also, Why doesn't PSP have their own forum on this site?
Because of my impatience on playing games for the next generation, I sold my PS2 with all my games just to get a 360. I admit, the 360 was a blast to play in the beginning because it was something fresh, new and the lineup of games like Gears of War, Saint's Row, NBA 2k7, Fight Night Round 3, etc., just further proved 360 in my opinion at the time had this generation in the bag.
But I made this decision without the full knowledge of the importance of Blu-Ray and the possiblities this brings to the PS3. Also, the PS3 plays all your old but CLASSIC PS1 and PS2 games. Its like having 3 systems in one. It does right now have a crappy online system that offeres very little compared to the 360. It has fewer big titles right now as well. But if you're patient, I believe the PS3 has the potentiel to not only meet 360's quality right now, but exceed them. Whether this ever happens is in the hands of the developers and by the looks of it, things are coming along quite well with games like "Heavenly Sword, Ratchet & Clank, etc.)
Also, Game Informer just announced in their June issue, that MS has no answer for the "rings of death," that destroyed so many 360s. I for one, had three different ones and ended with the same result till I finally got one that lasted long enough for me to sell it for a PS3. Even with an extended Warranty, Microsoft has admitted, they have no cure for their faulty system. I for one, am not a fanboy and enjoyed my time with the 360. If they ever resolve this malfunction, I might even consider purchasing another in the future. But right now, PS3, is the way to go.
ok thanks for the advice.....just one more question though......is it worth to get the extended warranty that those pushy salesman tell you to buy? How much is the extended warranty? bungee1970
I wouldn't waste the money on an extended warranty. Sony comes with a standard 90 Day warranty so you should be ok. Unlike, X360, there are no "rings of death," to kill your system.
I'm interested in purchasing a wireless router for my PS3. Does anybody have any suggestions on a good brand that's compatiable with the PS3??
So far its been a rough road with me and my PS3. I love the system but games like:
Def Jam:ICON (the list on how they ruin this once great game is too long and need its on blog)
Motorstorm (no multiplayer was one let down, and the lack of many tracks makes this thing gets boring quickly)
really disappointed me. There was so much that could have been done with these games but they seemed like rushed products.
I just play NBA Homecourt (which is getting boring too by the way), Resistance (I beat it twice and really don't know if I'll be playing it again) and Oblivion (so far so good).
Cold Winter Darkwatch Duke Nukem Jet Grind Radio Marvel Vs. Capcom Max Payne Power Stone Soul Calibur SSX Syphon Filter The Thing Timesplitters Trickstyle Twisted Metal Already Being Brought Back *Grand Theft Auto *Half-Life *Killzone *Manhunt (for PS2 at least) *Metal Gear Solid *Quake *Red Faction *Resident Evil *Silent Hill *Unreal Tournament *Wipeoutrazzkazz
DAMN I'm impressed...you not only listed some great games but you did it in aplhabetical order. IMPRESSIVE!!!
