[QUOTE="skrat_01"]How is a redesign a gimmick? :|[QUOTE="Cheazie"]PS2 Slim was a gimmick. Just like the Pink PS2's and the multi-colored GC's!! Cheazie
Especially when it adds extra hardware (network port) and changes the original design so dramatically.
I guess the DS Lite is aswell by that logic.
Multi coloured consoles however - well NOW you have a point.
They added a Network port due to Xbox's getting one for nothing not because of a redesign! They thought they could squeeze abit more money out of the consumer! If you wanted a Network port you could of brought one for £30 instead of wasting £100 on a Slimline PS2! Its just same old thing just new a new package!
Is there any real differance between the DS Lite and the normal DS which makes it a significant overall on the design or is it just a slim lined version of the DS? I'm sure theres no real differance as both do the same thing which is play DS games though one is abit chunkier than the other.
If they was worried about how ugly the PS2 was then they should of done something before they released the console not when it was at death door after 4 years. This is why i think of it as a gimmick.
I agree with this guy!
1st. DW is not supposed to be played like that. That is like a bug, or hack. 2nd. They made the ps2 slim for.... sales. And it seems it worked.kentaro22
no ur lying. thats how its suppose to be. you take out the cd and put the other one in o.o do u even know how to play it?
It's like dynasty warriors. You wanna put Dynasty Warriors in your Dynasty Warriors Extreme Legends one ( like changing cds so u get like more functions!) But the slim just can't do that. Man that really is a waste even if its thine, It's totally useless >.
