I am wondering what are the worst ds designs and functions you have ever heard of? Also include game ideas if you wish.

The stylus should be more of a felt pen to avoid scratching. No dual touch screen that would just be useless especially if it is still a hinge style you would be fighting with yourself to touch the top screen. Downloadable content would be nice if the price stayed down. I don't think we would want a much thinner top screen because of the problems with it breaking already. Maybe double the resolution so that older ds games still work smoothly on it. We shouldn't be looking for the best blend of the psp and the ds just an improvement on the system.

Kirby crystal shards
Banjo Kazooie (extremely doubtful)
Jet force gemini (again doubtful. Microsoft had to buy Rare grrrr)
Zelda Majora's Mask (Good game but a lot of people didn't like it)

Its not only a question of memory it is also a question of the power of the ds itself. The cutscene has only one thing going on at once and there are no buttons able to be pressed at all (except for maybe a start button or A or it may just be set up for any button press). Because of this the cut scenes can look that good because there is nothing else the system needs to worry about. In the case of in game scenarios the game has to worry about 12 buttons and a touch screen and needing to produce 3d models(not the 2d video), the 3d models have a reaction to every button press and tap on the touch screen, finally the 3d models have to react and interact with each other.

Here is another way to look at it. Lets take a regular movie. Now normally you can't change the movie in any way. You will always have that one fixed angle you can't change that. But in the game it has to be prepared for whatever is going to be thrown at it different camera angle, the characters doing different things, it all changes very quickly.

For some reason 2d games are a lot easier to see in the sunlight so maybe you can get some games like that. Or get a bunch of admirers to huddle around you to block out the sunlight.;)

Yes but I think there should also be an option for the older ones too. The GB and GBC games were good too. I have no idea what nintendo will do for their next handheld system but I hope they will be able to keep the touch screen while still continuing to be innovative.

Try cleaning up where the battery is. Just pop out the battery clean it up the area that holds it in the ds then try cleaning up the battery.
Note: use a dry cloth

Then carefully put the battery back in. It probably won't work but it is probably worth a shot.
