How did that go? Governor still signed the budget that cut funding. That blows. :( That makes me mad becuase it just shows blatant disregard for the people and that their voice doesn't matter. :?[QUOTE="oneMoreComment"][QUOTE="DroidPhysX"] I protested with my university at the state capital over cuts to higher education.DroidPhysX

Oh yeah, that banner is really standing up
Maybe next week she'll bake cupcakes with frowns on them and really fix all this!
If you think this is what America needs you're wrong. America has relied too long on words and not actions. This woman's outburst is why we lost our rating in the world, a whole lot of talking and nothing else.
This fool just showed why America is failing. She pointed a finger, great what is she going to do about it? Spend that money mobilizing people to contact their government and fix this and if she had money for both? Then that money should have been doubled.
But no, yet again someone mouths off and gives zero help and people praise them as some kind of hero.
And don't give me this crap that "not everyone can talk directly to their government" because everyone can. The idea of contacting your congressman is an afterthought because in true modern American fashion everyone thinks it's better to talk instead of act.
Interesting that you quoted me saying something I didn't. Never said you couldn't contact/talk to your government, I said you can't walk into their place of work and tell them how to do their job. I don't mean to come off as an as$ to you but whats the point of complaining about what a person has done when we sit back and do nothing ourselves? Andyes even I havn't done anything to better anything but I don't bash those who think that what they are doing could perhaps get others to do something.
I protested with my university at the state capital over cuts to higher education. How did that go?I use facebook and really couldn't care if it just fell off the face of the Earth, but I do find itbothersome that others think it is OK to attack a Website that others have worked hard to create and maintain.
Wow the point just went way over your head. I assume you would rather do nothing and just watch the country go down in flames. People like you are why America has problems, you don't stand up for anything and want to wish it away and pretend nothing is wrong.[QUOTE="oneMoreComment"][QUOTE="Jaysonguy"]
Disgusting
I'm glad she had the money to waste on something no one cares about
"Oh did you fly a banner? Well that's going to fix everything!"

Of course one banner isn't going to change the outcome of something but your average citizen can't walk into congress and get people to do their jobs. You have to speak up one way or another. Perhaps if more people cared to have any initiative to do something we as citizens could change something. But instead people who aren't doing anything just gripe about those who do. You can't complain about someones' motives when you don't have any of your own.

People like you are why America has problems, you don't stand up for anything and want to wish it away and pretend nothing is wrong. Its already been reported that the people who were killed were part the same team not the same unit that killed Bin Laden.
Meaning: None of the guys who were killed participated in the operation to kill Osama Bin Laden. They probably knew and trained with the people who did that operation.
That makes a lot more sense. I had it out that they were the same people. Thanks for clearing that up.[EDIT] Didn't have another piece of the story which was they weren't the same people which means this theory is debunked.
Yes, Microsoft has been suing companies since the beginning of their time to put other small start ups out of business with all the legal fees. This isn't new, and yeah Apple is the same. And I assume you mean Microsoft wants to take out Android, not Linux. As Microsoft would have a hard time trying to "kill" Linux seeing how its open source and free. Its the Linux community that keeps it alive.
