hey this is one crazy thread with guys multiplying clock speeds with number of cores.enrikk, there are currently almost no applications optimised for tricore.either go with a two cores or four cores.two cored processors for today or four cored processors for the future.I also saw a benchmark test where core 2 duos (e800's) beating phenom x3's in most applications.so i think e700's should have more or less the same performance of phenom x3's

why is the 'hide the modes this monitor cannot display' checkbox in the advanced display properties greyed out in notebook panels

that card is way to powerful for that cpu.dual cores are nothing but pentium4's put together,so i dont think you will get the performance that others got with core 2 duos and quads.

hey guysi just googled around a bit and found people having many problems with 64 bit vista,i have one and i haven't had many problems(the truth is i have not installed many programs and games yet).is it true that 32-bit games run slower on 64bit vista than the 32 bit vista

hey guys i use vista 64 and iam new to this OS,i just want to know whether i need to install the games only in the program files(x86)folder(since most games are 32-bit) or can i install it somewhere else preferably on a partition which i candedicate only for games

hey guys i have a sony vaio with ati 4650 512mb gddr3, core 2 duo 2.53ghz,4 gb ddr2 ram and iam running far cry 2 in direct x 9 mode at 1280.720res and mostly high settings ,without AA and vsync.does this mean my laptop is functioning well with the latest games and can i run the latest games somewhat smoothly. average fps 31.11 for farcry 2(highest 50.01 lowest 27.86).op sys-vista HOME premium

i use a 64bit vista os and i have a doubt whether i will be able to play the older games. somebody please help me
