I still strongly feel like Sony will use a custom rise architecture for the next playstation platform like they have been using since the original playstation platform & i don't see this changing for the next playstation platform given ibm's long history with working with sony on gaming platforms alone.Also i strongly feel that sony will use rambus's xdr dram 2 architecture as the main system memory architecture solution the successor to the original xdr dram architecture used inside the current generation playstation platform.I say rambus because of rambus's long successful history of producing idea memory performance solutions that has been used inside multiple console's from the previous playstation platform PS2 to the nintendo's n64 gaming platform.
