I know, it's horrible, but I actually don't experience any lag to speak of (assuming no one is downloading stuff on the computer)

I very, very rarely experience lag. but I think that's because my ping is good (the lower the better, right?)

You might not think you have lag but if you play a very skilled game that requires precise timing you'll notice huge lag, especially in games like Tekken where moves come down to single frame rates. I usually don't play online if my ping is anything over 30ms.

SOCOM is worst game I ever played.

I'mdecent on sticks from playing in arcades, FNR3 and Madden. I don't mind TPC, but it's not 100% accurate. A left jab can easily end up a left body shot. Combo ARE easy, just wiggle the analog really fast and your player will throw really fast landing combos. I got the demo and I don't see any "strategy" in the game yet. Push, push, pushthen haymaker works great for a quick KO though.

They need to follow Tekken 5DR's policy. Disconnect for ANY reason, power outtage, pulling the plug etc.. you drop 1000pts. That is A LOT of playing time in Tekken online. It's full proof, nobody disconnects nor are there any glitches. Funny thing is after you lose connection, NAMCO makes you re-read their policy and accept it.

Playing the computer makes it seem deep and strategic, but in VS mode w/ a friend it's a button masher.

PS3 uses adobe flash player 9, most websites use adobe 10. Sony just needs to update it. btw you can't download the flash player. Another thing is check in settings and enable wmv playback that helps on some websites.

i thought it was ok, some of the controls are wierd, and i don't like how if you want to do a submission you are forced to just button mash.

Makes me want tekken even more...
