about my exams

well id been doing my end of third year university exams..im doing medicine by the way. so now im only left with what we call an oral exam. this is where its just yourself and your lecturer(examiner), so they get to ask you random questions based on what has been covered in the syllabus, which for me is what has been done for the past two years.

then all that will be left is the nerve racking wait for the results.

the worst thing about my uni, or medical school here in my country is that if one does not attain the required pass mark, you are kicked out of the programme.so its gonna be a living nightmare.

il probably be getting my results two weeks from now..

Im back

after two weeks of exams i can now announce that im now back to being a frequent user of gamespot. its been a nerveracking tow weeks, im really glad its over. now its just the anticipation for the results

soul crushing begining of the week

i started off this week with two continious assesment tests that are supposed to be in preparation for my end of third year campus exams and ended up feeling totaly crushed.

there is a way that my examiners seem to have perfected the art of making the studedt feel totaly inadequate and useless. like all the reading one had done was totaly pointless.

anyway this had kept me all absorbed for most of the last week so i couldn't really spend time on the site checking whats happening. so today ive decided to go all out and post a personal record best of more than one blog post in a day.

at least ots helpong me calm down..id have otherwise been out ther geting totaly wasted(not a good thing if you have your finals in two weeks). so yup. thats it for this post...

southafrica wins the rugby world cup

over the weekend, the springboks(southafrica's rugby team) did its fans and supporters proud by lifting the rugby world cup after defeating england in a hottly contested match..this is the second time in the tournament history that they have achieved this feat. keep up the good work!!!

lucky: may he rest in peace

on this past week one of reggae greats was gunned down during a botched hijacking in his home town in Southafrica. what makes this even more distressing is that this all occured in full view of his teenage son who was left in total devastation, shock and disbelief of the passing of his father right infront of him.

Lucky Dube shall be remembered by many for his works as an artist, his creativity and an african great who helped put the spotlight on the continent.

10th post

just past my 10th post and thought id rant about it...ok so most people are on about their 1000th post, but hey gotta start somewhere..

choppers and crotch rockets

ive always have had a thing for bikes, possibly because the traffic-jams in my home city can be quite a nightmare, talking of spending three hours to cover a 10kilometer journey..so yeah the luv was born. it started as a small thing but now im seriously considering it..given that crotch rockets are a bit unsightly to be seen in id rather a chopper ora cruiser.

crotch rocket

chopper

that chopper would be my next possesion if i could find someone to ship it

one down countless more to go

did one of my continious assesment exams yesterday, and wasn't that a killer..it was an oral exam where you sit with your examiner and he/she asks you any question from what has been covered in the syllabus, for me thats two years worth of reding material..the worst part of it is it always seems that you get asked questions from what one read the least on..sucks, im sooo hating campus right now.if it wasn't for my folks id quit and start over with someting new

upcoming exams

ive got my third year campus exams coming up in a couple of weeks and can't help but be a little freaked out at the moment..the whole thing of reading and preparing way ahead as to keep up with the work load can sometimes be easier said than done.partly because what im doing has tonnes of workload, with tonnes more each day.kinda frustrating at times...but all the same its not like ive got an option..if i dont pass my exams my folks will kill me..

then there's the continious assesments, this week for example the campus heads decided for no absolute reason to change the time table for the tests, thats completely messed up. felt like strungling someone

Passing of a hero:Colin mcRae

the untimely death of former WRC champion Colin mcRae robbed the world of a great sportsman. mcRae passed away in a helicopter crash a couple of weeks back(18/09/2007). his passing has been a great tragedy to the motorsport world where he would surely be missed.

he is the inspiration behind the popular Colin mcRae rally game developed by codemasters, which also just recently added DiRT to their title collections.

my condolences are with his family, friends and fellow scotts, whom were proud to have one of their own on the world map.

Colin McRae enjoyed phenomenal success as a...
