I got a Gameboy Micro last week that I bought off ebay and went immediately to Gamestop to see what they had. I saw HoD there but I didn't have enough cash for it so I bought Golden Sun: Lost Age instead. Well, I went home, got some cash from my drawer, went back to Gamestop and bought HoD for $15. I can't put it down. Here's my impression:
I read a review by a gamer that said the first half hour was ho-hum but it really grabs you and doesn't let go after that first half hour. Well, I feel exactly the same way. I was kind of like "ok, this is just whatever..." as a first impression, but I kept wanting to play more, now, I play it whenever I get the chance. Regardless of what others might say, I think its a pretty deep game and I love it just as much as the other games in the series. It really has a feel of its own, and there are moments where my jaw has dropped and I've been amazed or shocked or just wowed. It also has some cool music; once again, this is contrary to popular belief. Go pick up that copy and judge it for yourself. You wont be dissappointed.
