I picked up my Wii U from Wal-Mart on Sunday (Love It!!!)

I got my call from Gamestop this evening saying that my waitlisted Wii U was ready.

I waitlisted when the preoders at Gamestop ran out but before I preordered it from Walmart.

I kept the waitlist at gamestop because I was curious how long it would take - 2 weeks or 2 months or even longer.

I never would have thought that it would have been only 2 days.

Try Sears locations

I don't think that they took preorders and nobody goes to Sears anymore.

I think it might be your best bet.

The Toys R Us deal is great.

The problem is I don't want to wait until Thanksgiving weekend to play the games.

On a scale of 1 to 10 how morally shaky is this?

I buy 3 Wii U games form Toys R Us at full price on Nov 18th. I play them and have a great time

On Black Friday I go back to Toys R Us and buy the same 3 games plus the one free game with the 40% deal

A week after that I take the 3 unopened Black Friday games plus the Nov 18th receipt back to Toys R Us return them and get my money back

good deal.

Starts Thanksgiving Day at 8pm.

Buy 1 Wii U game get the 2nd for 40% off (essentially buy 3 games get 1 free)

Are there any DS or 3DS games that you would want to see remade or sequels on Wii U?

1st game that popped into my head was Meteos.

I loved that game and I think that it would be great as a Wii U eShop title.

What other games do you think would well with TV and Gamepad?

It's called asymmetric gameplay. Asymmetric and asynchrnonous mean two different things.

I can see lots of room for new types of gameplay, in particular in hardcore games.

You could have a shooting game where it is 4 weak players vs one powerful one.

I've heard both terms used. How are they different?

Is anyone interested in Madden 13 for Wii U?

I haven't heard or seen much of anything about it.

IDEA 3 - Another idea from a Playstation 2 game. this time it's Mark of Kri. Player 1 is a warrior. Player 2 on gamepad is the bird. Gamepad is using the Panarama View In Mark of Kri the bird was used very sparingly. For this it would a much more integral part of the game.. Player 2 can scout around for recon. Can fly in windows grab keys, etc to bring back to player 1. Can pick up and drop bombs (like Zelda Skyward Sword) Player 2 can drop some sort of marker (paint etc) on a particular ememy to single him out If a sniper is taking shots at Player 1, Player 2 can go and distract long enough for Player1 to get away. Lot's of gameplay possiblities here. The panarama would be great http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BqBPuUidk8Y
