When i turn on my computer, window 7 ultimate, that i built myself the "checking file system on C: The type of the file system is NTFS" message comes up on the black screen before i can log in and the timer goes down to 1 and starts. What causes this and how do i fix/get rid of this. I have been using my computer flawlessly for the past 6 months except for about a week ago when my monitor, 28 inch tv, wouldn't display anything until I took out the gfx card, 4850, and cleaned all of the dust off.

If you're looking towards the future of your computer i would suggest going to microcenter and getting the i5-2500k and mobo bundle, thats what I currently have and it overclocks amazingly. In the end it all comes to how much you wanna spend.
