What's the issue with waiting for it's officical release in the market you live in? Game function implementation won't happen until at least then anyway.emitsu97
Thats where your wrong, a lot of the games being released now have rumble support built in eg. Uncharted and R&C

Personally i'd go for the TV. You''l enjoy your 360 more with the HDTV, but will you enjoy your current TV more with a PS3 plugged in? Also, if you wait your more likely to get yourself a PS3 bundle with a DualShock3 instead of having to splash out extra for one. The only thing that puts a spanner in the works is if you want backwards compatibility in your PS3, as then its worth trying to find the 60Gb before its sold out (if its not already, i dont know the SKU situation in the US).

As the previous poster said, it all depends on your equipment. I have my PS3 hooked up via optical lead to my receiver for my 5.1 speakers. For video i use HDMI to my TV. To connect surround sound to your PS3 the connection preference goes as follows: HDMI > Optical > RCA (not true surround soud)

All i really want out of PSN is the same sort of "friends" experience that you get with XBL.By that i mean chatting in and out of games, cross game invites and more integration into games for easier game invites (none of the current send an e-mail style message like we have now). Add that and i'm a happy gamer! I'm not really worried about custom soundtracks, but in-game access to my friends list would be great

I know the new PS3 wireless guitars don't work with the old games, but does the old guitar work with the new game? I know you'd need a USB adapter, but i'm really tempted to stick with my wired guitar untill the blue tooth guitars are released.

We shouldn't have to, especially since we cant buy stuff on the foreign stores. Besides, we were told on ThreeSpeech that the Tekken 5: DR online patch was coming today (which you have to buy so we cant get off other stores)

Thank you so much! I've been waiting for a feature like this for ages! My only gripe is that my video thumbnails are no longer animated like they were, its strange since the game/demo thumbnails still animate.

I'm just a little confused as to why we can choose different colours under themes, but not black! IMHO the black background you get i the evening/night looks the best, it matches the colour of the system and just makes the XMB look a lot more sophisticated and smart
