the usefulness of xboxone for advertising was highlighted by MS as soon as it was announced.
at that point kinect was mandatory and the console was always online, so advertising and data gathering seemed to be a central objective of the console.
they might be trying to water it down now. it would be interesting to see how easy it is to control your privacy on the xone.
'clearly the best games' is quite a sweeping statement. he tries to talk logic by saying that games matter more than graphics and then borders on the nonsensical by saying 'we have clearly the best games'.
all these statements are premised on titanfall. why not just say as long as we have titanfall and the ps4 doesnt, the xbox has value.
@PartyGavinParty yes, but for that MS will need to have regularly released exclusives, which Sony seems to be pretty good at, as they showed with the PS3. Sony seems to have better first party studios.
@moesuir i think after 7 years the PS3 base has grown much more than the xbox. PS3 still has some mega exclusives coming out but the x360 releases died down pretty quickly.
@kljvoph @outlawoftorn that is essentially what he is saying. high powered graphics were around when x360 and ps3 came out but he still believes they were on par at that time.
secondly his argument is flawed. a very small percentage of PC owners run 1000W PSUs. enthusiasts have and always will be ahead of consoles with their PC rigs.
