@kdogpa: how about when EA sent free hard drives to their longtime subscribers? These people still argue that it's not free since you paid for a subscription. You could just hand them the keys to a new car and tell them it's free and they'll say "well it's not really free if I have to spend my precious time and energy to take the keys"
@livedreamplay: If it's a poor business decision to refund customers that made a regrettable purchase, then why are they rolling out this new refund program? Maybe they will lose a bit more money but the whole idea behind it is customer support and ideally they will gain more loyal customers and in turn increase profits. This was my point from the start.
@valhallaoutcast: yeah I wouldn't be surprised. I'm sure they've already considered that and worked out a way to screw people over. I've been a loyal customer since the original Xbox, but they don't care lol
@livedreamplay: Did I say two weeks? No, I said a few days. And that's pretty common customer service for retail. That's why stores like Best Buy price match other stores and also give refunds for the situation I've just described. What's annoying is people like you who like to make snarky comments because it makes them feel better.
Over the years I've bought a lot of digital games. And sometimes just a few days after I buy one, I see that it goes on sale for a deep discount after I've paid full price. So I call up Microsoft and see if they can help me out and always get the same answer. "nope"
Maybe with this new program my bad luck won't be so costly.
@leblnk: it's not a soccer related article. It's a video game related article on a video game website. The fat dude used to play soccer and now he wants money because he's washed up and broke.
