[QUOTE="NobuoMusicMaker"]For someone who has no life, he has a girlfriend. More life than a lot of SWers. :lol:Unforgiven2870I like you how you said that, and yet you post on SW?
hahahaha somebody needs to sig that, funny ****
this guy is right, and the indirect form of simple gameplay that is hidden behind the bullets and explosions of halo keep it a game that can still be entertaining todaywell first off i think the introduction of equipment is a somwhat dramatic step weather you realize it or not. halo is a sand box and you kind just develope your own style of play that you just build on and evolve and when your use to what goes on around you suddely bam! you throw in somthing like a bubble shield or a radar jammer and in an instant the mix up of explosions, gun fire and just all out mayhem changes drastically for a short period of time. ppl always seem to be look for that one thing that makes a game great, and one small thing that sets it apart, and for some reason they seem to call it "innovation" and it's gotten to the point thwere games are being "innovative" just for the sake of being innovative, but where halos fantastic amount of fun lies is in the fact they they have payed attention to every lil detail in the way the game plays and they just make everything com togethor just so well and they do it w/out the use of cheap gimmiks like the chainsaw in gears or it;s cover system. let me tell you that a cover system is nothing new the only the it requires is a wall to move out of the line of fire, but make a button do it for you and boom, all of a sudden it's innovative.
in short the appeal of a game like halo is in how simple it is and it doesn't need some gimmik to be thrown in there just for the sake of caus it only complicates things even further. and from what i can tell the games industry needs to attract more ppl not alienate them.
oh ya i'm also glad that you came up w/ a compelling argument rather than just some stupid comment like "halos is teh suxxorzzzz"
wreak
lol you forgot to say that dmc4, was 'ps3 exclusive' along with other big hit titles like unreal tournament 3, makes you question how many of those ps3 titles will remain 'exclusive', also makes you think thatyou can play those potentially great ps3 titles on a less expensive console (the 360) that also has tons of amazing looking titles coming out for it, (Alan Wake, BIOSHOCK,MASS EFFECT, HALO 3) all big console hitters for example that are guaranteed to stayexclusive to the 360,talk about self owned"and a lot more" doesn't cut it for me.
"Halo 3, GTAIV, DMC4, BAnjo, Mass Effect, Bioshock, Turok, The Darkness, Guitar Hero III"
Let's break this apart. First off, DMC4, GTAIV, Turok, the Darkness, and Guitar Hero III are ALL MULTIPLAT. SELF OWNAGE.
Second, let's list PS3 exclusives, much to your chagrin, apparently.
Warhawk, Wardevil, FFXIII, FFXIII Versus, Metal Gear Solid 4, GT5, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Heavenly Sword, Lair, Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, White Knight Story, Afrika. In addition to the multiplats you so kindly mentioned, 15+ new exclusive titles to be revealed at E3, and at least 100 titles (according to Jack Tretton) by the end of the year on PS3.

I think the idea and concept is execellent.
Lambo2468
Same. I don't expect much more decency from the Lemmigs though. They can bash anything Sony dishes out without even looking at it.
If you honestly think this game looks lame, well then you're not being honest.
i agree hahaha ok i admit some funky ps3 game that relies on the main character bieng a chick with a gun in a spy environment that has most definetly been done and outdone before DOES LOOK AWESOME ..... :(i dont get where you get pdz out of this. . :|_en1gma_lol maybe its how the main character is a girl with a gun
