Has anyone else noticed that there two kinds of salt n' Vinegar chips? Those flavored with ethanoic (acetic) acid, and those flavored with citric acid?

As for those flavored with citric acid, if I wanted salt n' Lemon juice chips, I would have bought them, but when I buy salt n' vinegar chips, I expect them to taste as so.

I have gone so far as to submit complaints to chip companies on this matter, and thus far they have not responded- what a surprise.

Any channel that chooses to air movies starring Nicolas Cage.BilliePopK

You got a point there! Everyone loves to talk about how Keanu Reeves' acting is so bad, but I think he is just as bad, and in the same superficial cheesy style too.

I DO read a lot of books, but I don't read a book based on genre- the author is the most important factor.

I'm assuming most GS subscribers only care for sci-fi and fantasy.

For sci-fi I like Asimov, Iain Banks, and Phillip K. Dick

Fantasy, other than Tolkein, maybe Guy Gavriel Kay.

As for other genres, I like James Patterson, Ken Follet, Sara Gruen, Paulo Coelho....

I spent 15 days in an American jail for being drunk (and obnoxious) in public, and I wasn't able to contact anyone that knew me because I couldn't remember any telephone numbers off the top of my head to get someone to bail me out.

This was the most disturbing and inappropriate thing that has ever happened to me- is it any wonder I hate America?! This would never have happened in any civilized country!

Johnny-Quest

Im pretty sure it would happen in any civilized country.

Sir, you are wrong. The police would kindly direct you in the way of your abode and ask you to put your behaviour in check in the future. What country do you live in? Liverpool FC? Yet you can't be a Brit with an attitude like this?

ummm you hate the us just for that? u just need a silly reason so you can make such a statement, seriously, if u dont like the US, then go back to the UK

Well if you bothered to read above then you already know that is going to happen in August. There are a great many reasons why I despise the US, and that is just one of many.

Why do you despise it. I am very critical of my own country, but I don't all together hate it. Where do you live?

I am currently in Maine. As you already know I will be moving my new-found family to the UK in 2 months. When you have a choice of where to live in the world, you can afford to be so critical, as you don't have to deal with the consequences, and just move on.

In any other country, the police know that they are just civil servants, yet in America they act like machismo cowboys with the moral hand of God behind them.
