I would say Either Rutger Hauer or Gary Oldman. Film-Guy

Nah, Michael Wincott (1492 Conquest of Paradise and The Crow) is one EVIL dude.

Is this against free speech, or would they be providing a valuable service? Ghengis-khan

NOTHING should be filtered, as NO HUMAN can justifiably be granted with the wisdom to filter anything entirely fairly, appropriately, or accurately. It is just not humanly possible, as the human condition suggests that we are ALL too fallable by our nature.

Even though I love Kubricks film's I have to say that I prefer Platoon. Overall i can't stand Oliver Stone and I think he is overrated, but Platoon has Willem Dafoe who is one of my favorite actors and it was more about the soldiers personal strugles with each other rather than just the battles in vietnam.Film-Guy

Overall I agree with you. Both Ollie Stone AND David Lynch are very highly overrated directors. It seems that all you have to do is create one or two great cult classics in your early years and you set for life, creating all manner of (big budget) trash and the producers will forever come back to them for more. Sad.

Seems like they are going to start putting this new encryption chip on new mobo's. Honestly this seems like a good idea since we wouldnt have to deal with crap like mass effect's copy protection. in the end i bet it will be craked with a simple download or something. thoughts?

Of course it will be cracked with a firmware mod or something.

Piracy has always been, and will always be, a cat-and-mouse game...it makes you wonder why they even bother.

[QUOTE="pOOPYpANTZ"]

I just don't f&^#ing care anymore for that kind of thing. Maybe I'm groing up-I don't know...

I would rather just listen to music unadulterated with no bogus attitude!

htotheo

then jsut say they don't call out good msuic and say its crap if you dislike lyrics for one and attitude because to me a band has to have an angle or some attitude or else it jsut isnt worth listening to.

I'll quote what you said- your'e on the right track...g'night

That, and I simply don't care for the shallow-minded empty pseudo-lyrical self-absorbed content that almost all pop/rock/metal bands have had to offer going all the way back to the seventies.
