I got to know this girl and immediately fell in love.I asked her out not long after we had been friends and she said very polietly that we can only be friends.It's only been 2 months since we have known each other and it seems like she takes me as a very good friend as I have done so much for her in pursuit of her and I really do like her alot still and cant help but be very good to her.

She takes my advice on alot of things and shares alot of her secrets with me.She has much better looks than me.Now she tells me that she likes that guy whos with me alot of times.Hez my best friend and ya hez very hot unlike me.:(

She tells me she has a real crush on that guy and such and such.I cant tell you how much these things have crushed me from the inside.Just becasue he has the looks and I dont even though I love her so much and genionly care so much for her,I can only be friends.:(

ya, i remember sitting and getting the check is the godamn pain in the ass of every guy working in logistics. Even if you cut my calculus from before by 1/3, it would still sum up to about 270 dollars, so nearly $300, when i said it was about 300-400.

The Bigmac index, yea how many dollars it would cost to buy a bigmac in other countries currencies...while the prices aren't fixed, they aren't jacked up in Canada like Europe as they dont need to go as far. And they didnt make that index just for McDonalds, they made it for the 120 countries that offer Big Mac meals, to make it easier to understand the exchange rate

That wasn't calculus, don't claim it to be. basic math/algebra, and if thirty dollars wasn't much money, just give me thirty dollars. Last time I checked, even in calculus, you cannot round up thirty whole numbers, in a number with only 3 significant figures.

Plus there are waiters in my restuarant who might make $200 for the day. And that is a lot of money. If you are gonna make up stories, at least make them believable

Well, if you expect a classy restaurant to give you the same level of service as freaking Checkers, then go ahead and don't tip. That's where the tips are going. If the waiters wanted to bust their asses for minimum wage, they'd be working at a place like Checkers, that doesn't give a ****.

So if "Checkers quality" is all that you expect when you're paying $35 for a meal...if you don't have a problem with waiting 10 minutes with nothing to drink, your waiters not clearing the dirty dishes off of your table, or your $35 meal getting to you cold because your waiter doesn't give a ****, then go right on not tipping.

Because waiters REMEMBER people who don't tip. And they talk to each other too, so getting a different waiter next time isn't gonna automatically make things better.

I just started driving so I can g oto restaurants by myself now and I haven't been tipping my waitors and waitresses. Maybe $1 max. I just don't feel like giving someone extra money for doing their job. It's not my fault they picked a low paying job in the hopes of getting good tips.

I talked to my mom about this and she says it's wrong. I don't think it is. I mean what is 3 dollars going to change in that person's day? I'm not tight with my money, but I just spend it where I think it needs to be spent. Does anyone else not tip at restaurants?fox-21

Plus heres the kicker, we remember you. If they know they arent making any money, they will tell your waitress, where your service will take forever, wont care about food, or they will tell me. I cook your food buddy, and let me tell you "a little floor spice makes everything right". Cardinal rule, dont mess with people who handle your food. you arent hurting them as much as yourself.

Bad choices

Right now I'm a cook at a Ruby Tuesday. Both of my siblings worked there as waiters so i showed up and was automatically hired as the General manager loved my family...it was a little wierd. Well on my first day i was supposed to be a To-Go person, i didnt care i needed to get away from my old job.

I show up and the manager is like by the way, your are gonna be working in the kitchen instead, so he put me on the expo shift. Expo is basically a liasion between the cooks and the waiters. i make sure everything gets to the tables right. Thats not a problem because i have a strong work ethic and can learn quickly, excet i wasnt trained. i had no clue what was what, and every now and then a manager stopped to see what was happening...it was terrible. whats wierdest is that no one cared or got mad

But i learned quick and now i can do everything in the kitchen, cook, expo, wash dishes, stock the line, prep food, do inventory, change kegs. Its a cool job good pay
