@boogeyman64: I bought my PS4 after a year later because the launch line ups, to me, was suck. The only games that I really wanted to play was Killzone Shadow Fall. Then after bought the PS4, I played about 10 3rd party games, like Battlefield and the rest of it, they are only worth like a while. Completed the story and that's it, I'm done. Multiplayer was great but that's just it. Most PS4 games replay value was suck. Hey, I am a Playstation fan too.
Wii U wasn't great but it was fun. I had a great time with it and spent more time on it than my PS4 because of its replay value and family games. Call me fanboy whatsoever, I am a long time fan of Nintendo since 1988, my first system the NES all the way to Wii U. Nintendo exclusives were always GREAT. Always.
@dngdangerous:We are not in the age of 4k yet. Far from it. That's the issue when consumers are pushing the game developers to create graphics up to 4K, it would need more time, more money and more work.
New technology today does not come cheap and still we hear people complained about PS4 Pro of having lack of 4k games and several issues with it. 2 of my friends had an issue with their PS4 Pro for overheating and graphic issues.
You have to understand even further that the Switch controllers with HD Rumble technology, which are quite similar but different tech as to rumble controllers like HTC VIVE and Oculus Touch controllers. Do you know how much those controllers cost? Each costs more than the Switch at around $200. Look it up in google image and see how they look like.
This is why you're too old to understand and you have NO IDEA as to how expensive today's technology really are and how it works because more than 70% of consumers does not even care about it and what they care the most is by just JUDGING how it looks which then they conclude the price! To them, the joycon looks small and cheap, the Switch is so timid in size and too portable compared to Xbone/PS4 etc.. By the looks of it to the consumers, this is cheap when in fact, tech wise it is not!
I am for sure getting the Switch just because it is something NEW for a change. I want something new rather than potato couch while playing games. More over, I am constantly on travel due to my work.
Live up to it, the future tech won't come cheap. Appreciate the idea because it's the idea that is priceless, not the hardware!
I don't see this as being an issue. Far from it. If soon or later we would have Netflix, then okay, that's fine by me and I will enjoy that function. If there aren't any really soon, hey, I'm cool with that. I just want to enjoy my games. Some people finds it like a big problem and they would whining about it over and over again.
