No suprise that in the Gamespot forums, there's only 5 or so users with an ounce of common sense.. Epic is bringing every anti-consumer practice to the table and the only thing you birds can regurgitate is "competition is good"

Although that is true, buying exclusives so you can have total control over their prices isn't the same as two video game stores selling the same products and having a price war.. Epic is actually monopolizing games, so they can charge whatever they want for them. lol

@PredatorRules: I restarted my computer as in turning it off and turning on it back on, lol, and I tried reinstalling my xbox 360 gamepad drivers.. How do I go about reinstalling usb port drivers? I didn't know that was a thing. lol

@xantufrog: This is happening with both my controllers, but I don't think it's the controllers cause it still happens while they're disconnected. The controllers I have are wireless xbox one gamepads. Yes, I had them both connected at once, but also tried them individually. The games had this problem with was Subnatica, Soul Calibur 6, and Monster Hunter World, but I didn't have any problems with Far Cry 5, or Dying Light.

I took your suggestion to unplug everything except for the mouse, but it didn't fix the problem, unfortunately.

I was following along until you said PC gamers aren't playing most games on a rock solid 60 fps, that's false. I'm still doing 1080p Ultra on most games with a gpu I bought almost two years ago for $170 or something like that. lol

Out of no where I started having a problem with certain pc games.. when I'm at the main menu some games constantly up like I'm scroll pressing "W" or holding up on the d-pad/joystick.. I Googled and all the results said I needed a new controller, but I tried disconnecting it, reinstalling drivers, restarting my computer, and trying another controller, but nothing worked. Is there anything else I could try?

@babyjoker1221: I'm not trying at all, I'm just stating the facts, lol. According to you, starting off on one platform is inefficient evidence for originating on said platform.. You're also trying to sell Battle Royale off as a completely new entity from the original, which it isn't.. you need to find a grip on reality, buddy. lol

@babyjoker1221: "It doesn't matter where it originated from" Why doesn't it? Seems like you're just ignoring facts that hinder your argument and nothing else. lol

We both acknowledge the fact that Fortnite was playable on PC before a console version was ever thought of, but for whatever reason you still have a hard time accepting the fact that Fortnite originates from PC.. I'll just chuck it up to fanboyism and rest my case. lol

@babyjoker1221: So, you're telling me Fortnite, and Fortnite aren't the same games? Yeah, okay, that argument would be credible if "Fortnite Battle Royal" wasn't called "Fortnite" and didn't have literally the exact same artstyle, game mechanics, and wasn't developed and published by the same companies.. Calling the Battle Royal mode a separate game isn't that large of a reach, but denying where it originated from is completely delusional. lol

Steam will be okay, the only thing that concerns me is how this move would affect the success of future Elder Scroll's games on PC, which seems to be negative.

And as for the concern of having "all your games in one place" Steam already gives you the option of adding "non-steam" games to your library, so it feels like you're hardly playing on anything else.
