i'm honestly not surprised. i never wanted this game anyway so i dont care, this is exactly the same as everyone expecting zelda to be 10 just because its zelda, steven speilburg is good at "movies" there is a distinct difference between the two things. plus its his first game. i think scores for games should reflect the reviewer, not gamespot as a whole. stop bad mouthing them just because the game you wanted to do good didn't. I wanted to get red steel, thankfully gamespot saved me from that. maybe this is a similar situation.
Super MArio Galaxy, Metroid Prime 1, 2, and 3. Though i'm workingon 3 now. Harvest Moon. I'm sure their's more.
Actually, the only mario I've beaten myself is new super mario bros. I guess i wasn't interested after watching my older siblings play them soooo much.
TOS was a great game, one of my favourites, but FF6, and 4, and chrono trigger, are all very good as well. i did think it is the best Tales game ive played to date.
ps3 will be a good choice for anyone who wants a blu ray player and a game consol. since 100 million people have a ps2, they might now finally fork out the cash to get a ps3. especially if there is a price drop.
Mario Kart has always been just an OK game to me. Hearing that the AI is cheap is no surprise, i knew they would find a way to make this games potential fly out the window. Can you imagine a mario kart with these features?
1- no friend codes
2- voice chat
3- better than GCN graphics
4- great AI
5- no more "retro" excuses for the lack of new tracks
now wouldn't all those things make this a much better game?
no one said gta4 graphics were the be all and end all of games graphics....and pardon me but why do you care about a wall in the background?!?! I was playing an old pokemon game on my gameboy colour the other day, it was pretty fun, graphics are great but i seriously doubt you will be focusing more on a random wall in the background then the people who are talking right in front of you! what ever happened to watching the story progress. does everyone pause their games these days and analize the graphics?
