Too many assumptions and generalizations made. Poor article, op-ed or otherwise.

heh... It's funny how easy it is to tell whether a Skyrim player has ever used the word "Ingot" before. Anyway, that player house mod is pretty neat.

I'm really hoping free to play doesn't become much more successful...

@liam82517 That's the problem, they didn't destroy their reputation. The vast majority of ME repositories never cared about choice or player agency. They only cared about bright lights and sexy aliens(?), er... You know, what they'd find in a movie. Too many "gamers" now just want vaguely interactive movies, and that's why ME3 will go down as a "controversial success".

Also, technically, there were A, B, C, D, E, and F endings (3 of which were slight variants with 1 minor difference).

@Alt_Histories "oppressor" and "oppression" are different words. An authority figure has the potential to be an oppressor. So there. Also, like I said, the word loses most of its distinct meaning when it acknowledges the spectrum to speak of.

Anyway, I guess I'm going to have to leave it there, because "Livefyre" is an atrocious excuse for a comment system, and it has already become burdensome just to continue this. I can't imagine how difficult it might be in a few hours.

@xsonicchaos Any character, hypothetically. Having big boobs or a "skimpy" outfit are all fine, the problem is when there's nothing more to a character.

@Celsius765 Those aren't mutually exclusive traits.

The problem isn't women that are well endowed, or wear little. The problem is female characters who don't have anything MORE.

@DeltaMike90 Er... Sorry, I forgot to say there's a minority of only vaguely concerned people.

But as far as I can tell, the only 2 substantial groups in play are her supporters, and a certain forum GS doesn't like us talking about.

@liam82517 The kind of "misleading" you're talking about happens all the time. If this was misleading, you could sue Peter Travers for just about any of his positive blurbs on a DVD cover.

They can only be held accountable for misleading claims about quantitative values. That isn't the case here.

Hmm... I just looked at this harassment she speaks of. It would seem to me that the only people who really give a damn about her are her supporters. Really. If you go look at, say, the wikipedia vandalization, it's pretty obvious it was done for the lulz (and I think everyone here knows who I'm talking about). I don't mean to downplay just how much of a problem sexism is, but it would seem she's being trolled.
