As someone who just this past month tried playing Battlefront 2 on PC, it's impossible to find a match in any game mode other than heroes vs. villans, galactic assault, and capital supremacy (the latter of which is a brand new game mode). And even trying to find a match of heroes vs. villains is difficult. Not to mention, a new player in Hvs.V's going up against level 40's who have unlocked "star cards" which gives them a ridiculous advantage, isn't going to play that game mode for much longer.

The game's a mess, balance and progression-wise, and it most certainly is NOT "going strong".

@larowyn: Steam has a monopoly on the PC market. What you said has absolutely no bearing on this issue.

@BeefoTheBold: Psyonix made a decision that in no way, shape, or form affects the people who have already bought the game and spent hundreds of hours playing it, there's nothing "reasonable" about it.

"Pat me on the back more or your game sucks"

It's fine as is, they already have the champion system where it showcases the best squad and player from the previous match and gives everyone else an XP bonus if they kill you in the current match. Plus, being the "kill leader" in a match puts you on banners all throughout the map for everyone to see.

@Thretosix: If your only other recourse is "other people on the internet agree with me", you really have no leg to stand on. In the age of digital gaming, Epic's storefront is as much a platform as ps4 or xbox. Now tell me, how does someone attract consumers to their platform? I'll wait.

@Thretosix: What the literal **** are you talking about. how, in ANY way, is that a good analogy? "microsoft store on ps4"? Is every PC ever made 1st-party property of valve?

"Metro exodus isn't even an EPIC game" Is Monster Hunter World a Sony game? What about Crash Bandicoot remastered? No, neither are. Did that stop them from releasing first exclusively on ps4? What about the Yakuza series? Pretty sure sega made those, yet playstation still got them years before anyone else. How about Mass Effect 1?

To say your logic is flawed would be to imply any logic was used in the making of your comment. You have no idea what you're talking about. Instead of forming an opinion based on facts, you're throwing a tantrum like a petulant child because "no steam no buy!" Have fun with your "EPIC boycott", I'm sure their pocket's will be hurting without you by their side.

@Thretosix: Exclusives ARE competitive. To quote myself:

Look at the exclusives playstation 4 has. Microsoft knows their own exclusives pale in comparison, so what'd they do? Pay to acquire a whole bunch of developer studios (including Obsidian) to make future first party titles for xbox. Competition bred through exclusive games, which trickles down to consumers in the form of high quality products.

It's business 101, offer something that your competitors can't. Literally the definition of competition.
