The consumer decides what's worth the full $60 of course. I know I wouldn't be caught dead paying $60 for something like Wii Sports. You can get a feel of the quality of games from the demo. The initial gameplay mechanics don't magically change into something totally different. I know for a fact that the gameplay in the demo is pretty much unchanged in the final product. How could you tell me that the game is completely different in the final product? That doesn't make any sense, the devs released the demo for players to understand what they are getting into.[QUOTE="peanutbudduh"][QUOTE="lundy86_4"]
I know the meaning of many words thanks very much. However, you have failed to prove anything that is not simply your own opinion. You dodged my response *twice* about who decides how much content is enough content, as I said there is no universally fair way to measure.
Are you saying I can determine the quality of a games story from a demo? Determine the extent of combat mechanics, and gameplay evolution from a demo? If you are, I suggest you give up now, as that makes so little sense it's quite honestly astounding.
GOWIII demo was proven to be of an old build of the game, so how is that not substantially different from the final product. **** I forgot, devs just sit around and twiddle their thumbs for the last year of dev time :o

Like I said, there's no universal way to determine it. As you're view of what is worth $60 is no doubt different from what mine is.
I proved why you couldn't get a full feel for the demo of GOWIII, considering it was an old build, vastly different in quality from the final build. Gameplay mechanics do magically change during development, and on top of that, GOWIII uses things like upgraded attacks like with GOW and GOWII, meaning again you don't get the full feel from a demo.
If it's unchanged, are you stating he uses the exactly the same attacks throughout the game, and that he doesn't unlock things like new combos?
You're making no sense here, as i'm putting forth, with proof and a good structure a perfectly valid argument.
Unchanged gameplay, that's what it is. Upgraded weapons and such are not enough for me to change my mind about how the game is. What you said means nothing. The core gameplay is unchanged, so therefore I already know what it is and I can have an opinion on it.[QUOTE="peanutbudduh"][QUOTE="Ringx55"]ODST deserved AAInfinite_AccessJust like GOWIII, I know. Name a hack and slash longer than about 10 hours Zelda: OoT
You honestly don't know the meaning of the word if you really think that's ownage. "YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED THE FULL GAME TO HAVE ANY SUBSTANTIAL OPINION ON IT BECAUSE THE FULL GAME IS ENTIRELY DIFFERENT!" Yeah right, I've heard that before for EVERY game. A demo is not entirely different than the full product, in fact it rarely even has minimal difference.[QUOTE="peanutbudduh"][QUOTE="lundy86_4"]
So basically, you've got nothing. I think you've been sufficiently owned in this thread.
Try forming your own opinon of something, rather than taking it at the words of somebody else. It'll help out lots, when you try to pass things off as fact.

That doesn't make any sense, the devs released the demo for players to understand what they are getting into.I'm not just basing it on the demo. If anyone has played the demo, they will get a gist of how the full game plays...which is exactly like how GOWII did.
Just going by what other people have said that have played the game. I can also make that judgement on playing the demo. The game is basically GOW2.5.[QUOTE="peanutbudduh"][QUOTE="lundy86_4"]
You said, and I state:
"GOWIII is not a complete package"
"it's basically the same exact game as GOWII"
"and there's no real replay value"
"It's a rental"
"but it's forgettable, no lasting appeal."
"Was this really the way to end the series?"
Each of these seem to imply that you've played the game, when you have not.

Didn't you state you'd only played the demo?

My first play through on Titan Mode was 11 and a half hours and I've already spent well over 20 hours on the game since Tuesday. How about you play the game first before you start whining and moaning about how its "not worth it". If you think that, then just don't get the game. Obviously you like rehashed multiplayer much more than one of the greatest SP player experiences in all of gaming
Obviously you like rehashed everything.I don't see how that changes the facts. 8 hour campaign is not worth $60.[QUOTE="peanutbudduh"][QUOTE="lundy86_4"]

caligamer
8 regular hours......$40
8 EPIC HOURS wirth some of the best graphics......$60
I don't think so Tim. Anyway, let this thread die, it reached a respectable number of posts and now I can be proud of what I accomplished...a little fair and balance in system wars.
