So recently there was all this fuss about mass effect and it's "sex scene" which was obviously over exaggerated. But you still don't want that content in the hands of a ten year old. A lot of people have mixed views on games being sold to under aged kids. Some say it isn't an issue or it's too high for comfort.
At the end of the day, no matter what the cause these games shouldn't be in the hands of children. This would decrease the amount of ten year olds screaming in your ear while playing halo online. It's evident that five year olds don't buy games from stores but their parents or siblings let them play these games. Even where I live , in the caribean, I could walk into an Internet cafe and see an eight year old playing GTA 4. Are we being irresponsible and allowing those kids to play these games?
What impact does it have overall? I'm not stupid, games doesn't cause violence, there's a lot of thing in society that contributes to it.
What do you think, is this dangerous. Do you watch the rating before letting the kid play with you, or do you let them play everything.

well first off the scene in mass effect isnt that obscene or scandalous. second off its more damaging for a child to play through gears of war then say mass effect.
but yes I do agree that kids shouldnt be playing mature games, they are made for a very specific audience which doesnt include kids :P
