I've seen consoles taken apart before on YouTube, and this system looks especially tricky. For a PlayStation, it's a very unconventional design. You have to open up both sides and go through each layer like a sandwich. It's weird especially with the shielding and heat sink going upside down. But a cool video, nonetheless.
That's pretty shitty on Bethesda's part, in my opinion. Yeah, Soule may have misread his contract that possibly said Bethesda owns his music. But still, imagine if you worked your ass off on making the best musical compositions you could possibly do. Spending years of long, tedious, and arduous work and to have someone just snatch your artwork from you without your permission and have someone else perform it for you, devaluing your original work, feels like a slap in the face. I might be exaggerating a bit, but still. I can smell the shit from Bethesda from that move. It would've been less work (and money) just to have Soule polish the original score and make it sound better for the Remaster.
Another cool thing they announced is the ability to upload videos just like YouTube. Could this be a response to the demonetization controversy? I mean, Twitch could be a main competitor with YouTube and start a fight to make them squirm. Sure, it'll take while for them to catch up, but still. Amazon's a huge company and so is Twitch. Who knows? It could happen. It'd be awesome if it did happen because YouTube will have to start listening to the community, which they have never done before.
Can't they get the message? Ubisoft doesn't want to be the smaller guy. They want to be themselves, and they're well off alone. They're worth over $500 million (translated from Euros, of course). It's depressing to see Ubisoft get slowly devoured by this French Comcast. I get Vivendi's interested, but they at least have to respect their continual and adamant refusal.
That's cool. How about some social features like friend requests and personal HotSpots where you can have a date to play together? How about expanding the Pokemon roster and adding Legendaries or event Pokemon? How about a story mode where you battle with AI trainers and gym leaders? You know what, screw it! I'm signing up to Niantic to give them a piece of my mind. They need my ideas!
So, either Sony already is losing hope in VR or they'd rather focus more on different projects so they layoff a ton of employees back in London to save some money. Doesn't matter how they laid off the workers, it definitely sucks for them and I hope they actually find a decent job at Sony, however difficult that may be. Maybe there's a light at the end of the tunnel for them and they find another VR-oriented studio? It's possible...
"Nintendo Japan is purported to have shut the project down for unknown reasons..." Things like this make me wanna see Nintendo die in a fire. How many times do they have to piss off gamers and limit creativity? Shame on them! It's not your game anymore, so let them do what they want with it. You better fix your game soon or we'll ditch you on the side of the road.
Yeah, it's getting really positive reception so far so I'd say it's worth the purchase. Just having a universe to explore is a brilliant idea in itself, but No Man's Sky has lots more to do to keep you busy. I might have to run over to GameStop today to buy it since it's one of those must-have games for me, like Uncharted 4. You know a game is huge when it makes you want to go to GameStop or some other less appealing store to get it. I love sci-fi and things regarding the universe, so I can't see why I shouldn't buy it.
