Thanks for reply, I am gonna tryDefault Settings and Restore, before I call them up. Probably have to wait longer if they fix it instead of sending refurbished. I doubt they send new ones, never know thou.
I think it looks pretty good, especially the hair. Some people say the hair sux, but I think it is one of the more realistic looking hair, have to see it in motion first thou. Hair is hard, that why everyone is bald in mass effect. For the facial expression does look bad, but it is a static image, so can't judge yet.
Well my PS3 has stop reading discs, so I will probably have to call up Sony to send it in. Trying to get Amazon to do exchange first, but doubt that is going to work, no upc and past 30 days.
Anyways, does Sony fix your PS3 or give you a refurbished one, or give you a new one. I guess it depends on the situation but just want some idea for people who sent their PS3 in. I really hate refurbished stuff for some reason, I think I might rather have them fix mine. Just the idea it someone else PS3 first bugs me for some reason, I am probably wierd that way.
Yeah, I have tried DVD Movies, PS2 games, PS3 games, Bluray Movies, I think the disk drive is dead. It seems a couple people have had this problem from my research and I guess there is no solution except to send it in and get a refurbished from Sony. I really hate to send it in and get a refurb, I will give it a couple of days.
How do you save game save and such or demo downloads, I don't want to have to download all the stuff I have again and play over all my games. Can you just move it over to external drive, does it work like that. Anyone know how to save stuff?
Has anybody's PS3 stop reading discs? Ninja Gaiden froze on me reboot and now Disc don't show up on XMB anymore. Games or Bluray Movies, blue disc icon is gone. Demos and everything else seems to work fine.
Anybody have this problem and were able to fix. If there is no solution, how would I go about saving my stuff, game saves, downloads.
I just had the PS3 for a month, this was reason I bought a PS3 instead of X360 was it was more reliable and now this happens.
I believe like the other guy said it uses a proprietary cable. I try searching online couldn't find any. I don't know why all of you are getting on his case, it was a legitimate question.
Are we not here to help each other out and discuss things. Going to Best Buy or another store won' t help either, retail people for the most part are more clueless than I am on the products they sell. Or maybe he wants to buy online for cheaper and easier. If you don't want to help why bother replying.
Hmm, I am suprised that alot of you have it set on 1080i. My PS3 is getting here Wednesday, and I only have a 1080i tv. They still haven't fix that 1080i problem right?
I am going to get one out of these three: Resistance, Ninja Sigma, Rainbow Six. I think Resistance and RB6 have that problem, so my only choice is to get Ninja Gaiden, correct?
Sorry, probably an old question but did they ever fix that 1080i with some games being downgraded. My CRT hdtv can only display in 1080i, and I just bought a ps3 thru Amazon(should be here Weds). Been out of loop and gaming for awhile, but since price cut trying to get back in and forgot all about the 1080i issues.
I have tried to research the net and do search on forums. I have come to conclusion that they have fixed it thru firmware update, but old games like resistance aren't coded so would downgrade to 480p?
Does anyone know if Ninja Gaiden or Rainbow Six would work, those games and Resistance are probably going to be my first game.
