- Weight - The controller is really light because of the lack of rumble, and it caught me by surprise. It was light even with all of that extra crap put on to keep people from stealing wireless controllers.
- R2/L2 Buttons - I think it was just because I was playing the racing games, but my finger was slipping off of the R2 trigger as I was holding it down. The button from the PS2 was changed to a trigger for the PS3. It feels really good, but I hope that playing it a lot will train my fingers to keep themselves on the trigger. The XBOX 360's triggers have a big advantage because they move down and back up to avoid slipping, while the PS3 triggers only move down.
- PS Button - I didn't get to play around with the PS button, but during loading times I pressed it a few times, and it seems pretty durable and I like the feel of it a lot better than the analog button on the DualShock.
- Motion Sensing - I wasn't too impressed with the motion sensing. It might have been because I was playing MotorStorm with the bike, which people said has really touchy motion sensing, but I quickly turned it off. I like the fact that I wasn't conscious of a sensor bar to keep in range of, like the Wii, and I also like how responsive it was, but using it to steer the bike just didn't work for me.
- MotorStorm - Yes, I got to play MotorStorm, but only on one track and with only the bike. I have to say, this game is freaking AWESOME! I ran through the one track twice and went two different ways. One propelled me to victory, and the other sent me back a long way. The only real thing I was disappointed about was the lack of splitscreen. Even with that large factor, I will probably get this game launch day or shortly after.
Even though I was just messing around and joking with my friends and watchers, I was still jittery after the race from the excitement and the thrill of playing the PS3 for the first time. All I can say is, I can't wait for March 23 to come.
