They didn't take it away. It all depends on whether you have 4.00 patch for SSHD from what I understand. In fact, you can earn trophies WITHOUT firmware 2.40 if you have the updated SSHD. My profile actually shows my friends the trophies I have in SSHD despite the fact that I myself don't have 2.40.

Ok so all your data was transferred to a new user and it was all fine, and you just deleted your old PSN and all you lost was downloaded content? But do you also lose all your records from online games on your old PSN if you delete it? Are there any risks to deleting my PSN?

To answer the first question, yes. I'm assuming by your next questions you mean like ranks and stuff? I can go put GTAIV in and see if I still have my rank from before I deleted it, I'll edit this post and tell you if I have or not.

EDIT: No my rank is back to 1 again, but the ranks on GTAIV mess around a bit so it could be just that, I haven't got any other games I could check, sorry I can't help any more with that.
