@GreenMan Actually battlefield (esp 3 and 4) is full of grindy unlocks for gear and especially with 4 where the battlepack system has introduced a random element to the upgrades. Although I concede i never played battlefield for the unlocks, it s actually possible to be competitive with very basic gear, as long as your teamwork is effective. While destiny does have elements of teamwork ie for the raids, mostly people are paying for personal gain (loot).
yeah i got it last night with this method, had to wipe about 4 times before it spawned in that first door. Got 2 radiants and cloak for my hunter. one of the other guys got icebreaker v2. not fair :(
I got FC3 on the pc in a steam sale couple days back and was surprised that its not much better looking than the 360 version - with everything maxed out. it runs smoother and the post processing effects are better but geometry resolutions and textures are not much higher than the console versions. So im not surprised theres not much between the pc and console versions here (current gen of course) . This shouldn't surprise anyone as we all know aaa title development is console-first these days, so pc ports are nerfed. The days of Crysis are gone i reckon :'(
U play though. urgh!!. Why force this horror on pc gamers, we already have steam!
@kyelo @phloyd74 I have always been a fan of the Halo series, since original xbox, so Halo 5 has me insterested. I also like the Forza games, There are a couple of slightly interesting games incoming on PS4, Bloodborne, MGS5. but as you said there are no world changers, At this moment in time the incoming stuff for Xbox, I personally find more appealing, I haven't played any of the current gen multiplats on both consoles so I couldn't say which performs better.
When the next wave of big titles hits, we will see. I have a PS4 and tbh, I haven't seen much that's incoming to impress me. The Xbox has got some good stuff landing soon, If i was in the market to buy a new console at the moment, my money would be on the Xbox. To me It's not the amount of pixels a console can push that concerns me, but the quality of the games available.
