DR3 is really no different in content and style to any of the previous DR games. If you enjoyed those, you will likely enjoy this one as well. There are a few performance problems with it, but then there were on the Xone version as well. Its possible to tweak the game so its perfectly playable though, and i'm running it on a 5 year old PC...

This review, as others have pointed out isn't really helpful to anyone reading it in making an informed choice about purchasing the game, which is kind of why people read games reviews.

Maybe the reviewer should try film, theater or book reviews instead?

Sounds like Sony have missed an opportunity judging by previous comments here. That's not something they can afford to do right now. PS4 owners are not exactly spoilt for choice when it comes to new content, but that doesn't mean they want be sold (or rented) last gen games at inflated prices. Hopefully Sony will get the message and change the pricing model in time for worldwide launch otherwise its going to be a major failure...

P$4 is more popular than XB1 because M$ screwed up big time with pre-launch publicity and marketing, losing trust with a lot of existing customers - like me. But of course like any organisation they cannot admit strategic mistakes like this. I feel sorry for Phil Spencer and the mess he's been left to sort out. This has nothing to do with resolution or framerates, or which console is more powerful. If they hadn't messed up like that i'm pretty sure most 360 owners would have gone right out and bought an xbox one. Stupid Microsoft.

I think Phil Spencer is kind of missing the point. The reason people keep paying for ps+ is so they can keep playing the games and finish them. Because there are two full games every month, its hard to complete them before the next two land so you end up with a backlog of games to finish - so it keeps you paying, and to be honest once i complete a game, i remove it anyway, I'm not bothered about keeping it, unless it has good multiplayer or has replay value, in which case its the type of game ill usually buy.

and as others have mentioned the regular discounts and sales put the stuff on the xbox store to shame.

We played this to death when it came out, but games have moved on a lot. I put the disc in the other day, it looks dated and the controls don't feel right anymore compared to say BF3 and other modern shooters. And I wonder if this is one of those games where online support will be turned off soon...

Many games have this already, as long as its optional and not forced then its ok. Battlefield games have shortcut to kit unlocks as well, but never paid for those myself. Cant really see that this is news tbh... Of course, fanboys will read 'microtrasanction' and start spewing the hate.
