I am pretty certain that this is not the end to the Metroid series. Why would Nintendo be at their prime in gaming and technology and all of a sudden stop a great franchise. It would be like stopping Mario or Zelda.

As for the 2D version that would be great to have. A bit off topic but... WHERE IS A SSB GAME FOR THE DS???. They did a 3D battle for metroid how hard can it be to create a 2d game?? Then Wifi it!! that would be cool.

LOL i would have mine shaped like Samus when in Morph Ball Form.. with led light along the sides like the game. Ove course the base would be flat so that i dosent roll away.

Yeh definitly a huge battle mod with teams and all that for a huge online battle. I liked the 64 version it was great for the technology they had but now with the new graphic systems i think they can make a killer game

I will have to go with bf2 over 2142. Their was so much antisapation when this game was next to release and it wasent that special. No real use of a Physics card, the wepons and most vechals where rushed. What gun overheats in the year 2142!! 2142!! thats years and years away.

PS - No blood or gory effects from hot plasma heat guns.
