I decided to fill the survey because I wanted to help make the site better, but it just dragged on and on, and asked the weirdest questions. I started to think if it was a joke, or maybe it tested how much BS Gamespot users are contented to take.

You can't ask people for help and proceed to bombard them with endless questions. I felt like I was doing a psychometric test. When you do a survey, you have to be very concise. You only ask the most important questions, and you ask them only once.

Also you put casual games in the same category with indie games. They are not the same thing.

Assuming you don't want to buy a new controller (Xbox 360 controller works best), You can try Motioninjoy (but I'm not sure it works with Logitech controllers), Joy2key, or xPadder.

I'd also like to add that the Xbox 360 works best with Windows games. It works perfectly for Rogue Legacy also.

[QUOTE="picho86"][QUOTE="juradai"]Is it me or does this entire exchange seem a bit disjointed? It seemed to have escalated very quickly. I don't really see a threat anywhere but I do see a promise. If he disputes his account will be banned. Sounds like procedure to me nothing more, nothing less. Also, I don't see where it states what the guy's reason was for originally requesting a refund. I don't see it anywhere in this conversation. juradai
The support guy has to ask, if he doesn't, it means that there are no refunds period.

I'm sorry, Im a bit confused with your response. Where does the customer that is requesting a refund state what his problem was with the game? This will help with understanding the responses from the support guy.

He didn't. My point was that the support guy didn't care why the costumer wanted to cancel, so it probably didn't matter why he wanted to cancel.

While I would never back someone wanting a refund because a game is not his cup of tea, I fully support it when a game is basically unplayable. chaplainDMK
Why not? He didn't get what he wanted, he brings back the game and no one gets hurt. I don't know how it is in America, but here in Israel, if we don't like the product for any reason, we can return for a full refund for up to 14 days (not including underwear and stuff like that). I think it makes sense. Especially when the customer is disappointed with a poor quality product. In this case it is even worse. Like you said, when the product is unusable, it should be refunded no matter what.

Banning his account is the biggest threat they can make. They won't hurt him physically obviously.

He wanted to open a dispute with the credit card company, and they threatend him. To me it's very serious.

There are plenty of great RPGs. The question is how far back you are willing to go. Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 were awesome. Also Fallout 1, 2. The new ones are great too. Arcanum is amazing once you get past the beginning. Vampire the Masquarade: Bloodlines is a must play, only be sure to use the unofficial patch. These will be enough for now I guess. There are more great games, but these are my favorites. Skyrim is great fun, much better than Oblivion which was unplayable for me due to the awkward leveling system. I hated getting weaker on each level up, until I was killed by every guard.
