I would go with C&C 3. Actually I prefer pong over Oblivion. It was said a million times, but I'll say it again so hopefully you wouldn't spend money on it. Oblivion is a broken game, it has severe problems that go so deep that ruin the game completely.I'll write about a couple of the worst problems.
1. The scaled leveling system: Oblivion is designed in a way that makes it challenging the whole time by leveling up everyone in the game when you do. In reality what it does is making you(unless you read a guide about how to exploit that system) weaker when you level up. Because of that, doing side quests, exploring, and killing monsters in the wilderness is pointless. You have no reason to do anything but the main quest, and you can finish the game with a level 1 character.
2. Gaining experience by doing: Again, a nice concept gone totally wrong. You can, in ten minutes become a master at sneaking simply by walking near a sleeping man non-stop. Or become a master of magic by shooting fireballs at a wall for a long time. That again makes doing side quests to become more powerful is pointless.
There is much more but I think I made my point. In short I like to think about this game that it is like communism: it is a nice concept, but it's not practical and it just doesn't work.
