Considering how spectacular the DS line-up was, I don't think a single game could achieve that.

However, given how the DS was devoid of a great Metroid game, I think the announcement of a great sidescrolling Samus adventure would give the 3DS quite a boost.

For some reason, that statement sounds fake to me.

It sounds precisely like something somebody would make up to cause a commotion among the Nintendo fanbase.

It is a different brand of platformer when compared to the Galaxy games and Super Mario 3D world.

Those games are more linear, while Mario 64 is more explorative.

Given how complex is the structure of Metroid and Zelda games, I doubt that will ever happen.

I am not even sure making a Zelda dungeon and a Metroid map is that much fun. =P

That game is on my radar. Is it as awesome as advertised?

It's easy to pick up and play it, but it has a good amount of depth.

Plus, it is an awesome party game that demands a combination of skill and luck.

GTA would be hilarious and awesome at the same time.

As far as Nintendo goes, I would vote for the next Mario sidescroller. The NSMB art style is getting old.

Ok, the VR you get/lose is definitely determined by the VR of those that play against you.

I just got first in a full room with a bunch of guys who had 3000+ VR and I got 24 points for that. Later, I got first in a room with less-experienced players and only received about 15 points.

That was my problem when I saw them live several years ago. Every song ended with a 5-10 minute extension for every musician to solo. That's cool for a song or two, but it gets tiring when every song includes it, especially when it cuts the number of songs you can hear live in half.

You are right, but for some reason their jamming works better for me live.

That's why my favorite album of theirs is Big Whiskey by far. It is much more concise and direct than the rest of the material. But I also love the lenghtier duo of Under the Table and Dreaming and Away From the World.

@Pierst179: That's fantastic! I assume you've been to games before because of where you live?

I'm going to see the Dave Mattews Band tomorrow... While it's not the World Cup, I'm still pretty excited.

Actually, as a Brazilian I am a huge embarrassment. I have never watched a soccer game live. In fact, I only watch soccer every four years; during the World Cup.

I prefer to follow American sports (NBA, NFL, MLB, and the PGA tour) and F-1. I find them to be more entertaining than soccer.

However, I find the World Cup to be the best sporting event of all. I absolutely adore it! So I am glad my debut over in MaracanĂ£ will be on a World Cup match!

I really like the Dave Matthews Band! I think some of their albums could use some edition (some songs are just too long), but they are just awesome live. I hope you enjoy it!
