The grand prize for winning the Bullet Witch Speestakes finally arrived and the Mrs and I couldn't wait to test it out. The games, CD's and DVD's were mostly for her. The consoles, guide books, iTunes card,  and composite cables where my idea. By the end of the trip we had run out of interesting things to buy so we saved the last $105 to put towards the purchase of Guitar Hero II for the 360 since it wasn't in stock at the time. We consoled ourselves by combining the entire purchase with a "triple reward zone points on any purchase over $100" coupon. I'll be drowning in even more free money when those start to roll in!

Thanks a lot, GameSpot! I hope that this encourages everyone to enter those silly contests that  spring up from time to time. If pikadeth can win then so can anyone!

I have owned The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess since the Wii launch... and yesterday I finally caught my first fish.

Better late than never... but why is mine green when those that other's have are brown?

My girlfriend will be moving in (and becoming my wife) soon. So thus the great game merger has begun. Expect updates.

UPDATE:Gah! My recent editions have dropped my ratings average to a 7.7 and I have a rotten tomato emblem!

UPDATE 2: The newest additions have me back up to a 7.8 average, but I still have the tomato.

I was recently informed via email that was the grand prize winner of GameSpot's Bullet Witch Sweepstakes. At the moment I'm trying verify if this is for real or someone trying to scam me. The prizes are listed as such.

1. A $1,000 Best Buy gift card

2. A copy of Bullet Witch for the X360

3. A copy of the Bullet Witch comic book signed by the creator. 

This little bundle of joy arrived in the mail recently. It was a prize for being one of the first people to tune into the Battlestations: Midway show on this site. Does this mean that I have to buy the game now?

 In other news I got a great new emblem for contributing a bunch of really great avatars that GameSpot didn't feel the need to use. No word yet on that Scavenator emblem that I did everything to earn yet never recieved. It might help if I knew who to contact about that...

Lastly... Viva Pinata is a great game and anyone with a 360 that isn't immature enough to be afraid of "kiddy" games should play it. Those other people can keep playing their millions of boring, generic shooters that flood the console. They don't deserve to have the kind of fun that VP has to offer.

...but still no Scaventor emblem. I guess that you can't win them all.

It looks like my 890 gamer score points will never be posted on my Live ID despite multiple calls to Xbox Live customer service. I love technology.

Yeah... I exchanged it (This model had a slightly different firmware 1.4 rather than 1.5) and set up in a matter of minutes...
"Dear lord... that was too easy... There's no way that the 360 will connect..."

At this point the 360 practically connects itself. It must have known that a few 360 games were on that list. Now I'm connected and have an obligation to visit my local EB. I figured out that the only way to win was to lose... or maybe it's the other way around. I'm so confused.
