Time Waits for No-one

To realize the value of a sister, Ask someone who doesn't have one.

To realize the value of ten years, Ask a newly divorced couple.

To realize the value of four years, Ask a graduate.

To realize the value of one year, Ask a student who has failed a final exam.

To realize the value of nine months, Ask a mother who gave birth to a stillborn.

To realize the value of one month, Ask a mother who has given birth to a premature baby.

To realize the value of one week, Ask an editor of a weekly newspaper.

To realize the value of one minute, Ask a person who has missed the train, bus or plane.

To realize the value of a second, Ask a person who has survived an accident.

Treasure every moment you have.

You will treasure it even more when

You can share it with someone special.

Time waits for no one.

How Scary!

OMG! How scary has tonight been!

I had a few friends over for quiet drinks after work, we were chatting, laughing, generally having a good time and all of a sudden my back yard was lit up. At first we thought it was thunder (strange we thought as it wasnt forcast) then we heard the roaring of a helicopter - hovering above my house with its spotlight shining in my back yard.

The helicopter circled for about an hour continually shining the spotlight in my and the neighbours yards.

When my guest left (the helicopter had been circling for 45 minutes by this time) we opened the front door and seen 3 police cars in the street! They were talking to some young guys from across the road.

Eventually the cars left, the helicopter circled for another 20 minutes or so and then stopped. I haven't heard it for about 10minutes now. The street is in darkness and i am still unaware of what all the commotion was about but i will find out!

It was pretty scary - especially when the helicopter stopped and was hovering right above my house for what seemed like an eternity but was actually only 6 or 7 minutes.  It was very scary.

Thats enough excitement for one Saturday night.

Enjoy
