I just purchased http://www.amazon.com/Brookstone-X-Rocker-Pedestal-Chair/dp/B000VG9NF6 and am stumped on how and IF I can use this chair with my xbox360 since I am using an HDMI cable. Im not even sure I can do it using component cables.

Does anyone have any experience with these chairs? And if im unable to do it at all, is there another gaming chair or surround sound system that would be easier to set up when i am using an HDMI cable?

Thanks in advance.

hello. from what i've read, 360 games can only be played at 720p or 1080i, which confuses me because when i play 360 games (currently Mass Effect) my tv's resolution switches to 1080p, which i thought wasn't currently possible.

i have a vizio 42'' lcd if that matters at all.

Hello. Do regular HDMI cables work on the 360, or does it require a specific cable made for 360. I' like to buy one on monoprice, but wasn't sure if a standard hdmi cable would work, thanks.

thanks for the input everyone. i ended up spending a little overbudget and went with a 42'' vizio lcd.

i did have a few more questions since you ahve all been so helpful. the display when playing my xbox is amazing now, but my television (both regular and HD channels) look terrible. i am still connected on basic cable line (the kind that screws in, like with old school TV's). would this account for my low picture quality?

cool. thanks. i checked out some TV's at work today and thsoe vizio's caught my eye. and they are currently on rollback too. my only concern is still lcd/plasma. the burn-in worries me, and i again noticed the intense glare on the plasma over the LCD, which like i said, drives me crazy with all the windows around where i play.

just to add, i usually play within about 5 to 6 feet of the tv, if that makes any difference.

hello. aside from ff11 i am not aware of any real mmo's for 360. does anyone know if they plan on making a "good" mmo for 360 in the future, or is it undoable?

hello everyone. i'm looking to buy a HDTV this week, and was wonering what would get me the most bang for my buck for around 600 bucks. it's primary purpose will be for playing my 360 and i haven't really found any solid info on whether LCD or plasma would be the best for gaming, or if there really is a big difference at all. i do have a 360 with an hdmi port if that makes any difference (i've heard there are 360's without one)

from the browsing i've done in stores, the screen on plasma's seems to be very susceptible to glare. i have MANY windows where i game, and nothing drives me more crazy than seeing their glare on my screen when im watching a movie or gaming.

i work at walmart, so have access to a 10% discount, so will most definitey be purchasing my television there.

any advice from someone with some knowledge on this subject would be greatly appreciated.
