Maybe some GT5 pros can point me in the right direction. I've been playing alot of Forza 3 and have been using the microsoft wheel for that game and have gotten pretty good at posting good times and perfecting drifting.
Now I'm playing GT5 for the 1st time and I can not figure out what the hell is going on. I'll say that the logitec wheel is much nicer than the 360s. The thing is, in GT5, every time I enter a corner with a rear wheel drive car I just spin out. I oversteer like I've never seen. I can't take a corner even at 50mph, whether I lift off the throttle or not, I oversteer and spinout. And it gets worse, when I play with a contoller I can drift just fine and it controls like i expect.
It seems like, to me, that the physics are completely different when you use the wheel vs when you use the dualshock. I'm just baffled and frustrated.Anyideas what I'm doing wrong? Or are the physics just different?

My dad's computer is pretty ancient and he bought my whole family new computers before looking for something for himself. Now he wants a apple because he hears they're faster and don't have viruses. I want to know will the mac be intuitive enough for him to abandon microsoft office/xp and learn all of mac's new bells and whistles?
The reason I ask is the mac costs about twice as much as the dell and it's a big investment. Should he stick with what he knows or is it worth the learning curve that could lead him to a better experience on mac?
Also, will microsoft office work on his mac? I wouldn't have thought it would but someone told me it does.
I just bought a PS3 last night and so far... there have been ups and downs. One of the downs is the shaking image I'm getting. I'm running an Monster HDMI Cable to my Olevia LCD and the image appears to be shaking. Does anyone know why this might be happeneing and if there is a way to fix it?
I'm getting a Dell Inspiron 1505 tonight:
It'll have 2 GB's RAM(533MHz)
120 GB Hard Drive
Unfortunately Integrated Graphics + Sound
Vista Home Premium
The comp will just be for general purpose use and some video viewing (not much gaming).
Sould I get: 1) Intel Core Dou T2350(1.86 GHz, 533 MHz FSB) or 2) Intel Core Dou 2 T5300(1.73 GHz, 533 MHz FSB).
Price is $916 vs. $980.
Any thoughts?
