Is it me or do games that are coming out starting to seem rushed and under-developed. My favorite game, gears of war was one of these exceptions. To me gears 2 was a flop and it very much upsets me. Vegas2 was also rushed. These were going to be great games if the development teams had not rushed them from development. to store shelves The reason I am writing this is because im afraid they are going to do it again! Modern Warfare was a great game and i truelly appreciated the multiplayer concept \ (as the competitive multiplayer dude I am) but this game seems like it is going to come out WAY before it should. I mean think about how fast vegas2 and gears2 came out. To me it obviously showed when it hit shelves, they were lackluster in comparision to their predecessors. Im tired of it and I dont want to see it happen again to another game I love.Lamb-of-God

Gears 2 was far from a flop. More weapons, more enemies, longer campaign and the new horde mode actually make it a triumph. I think your whole argument applies more appropiately to the music industry. Now THERE IS a DISASTER.

Just fixed two 360s today that had RROD!

The X-Clamp fix does work people. If you are out of warranty, check it out. You get a step by step guide and all the stuff needed (or you can just buy the screws and everything else yourself and will cost under 10$). Its not that hard to fix, took me about 2 hours to do 2 of them today. Working like new again.

Anyways, no this isnt advertising, just a heads up for people who have no warranty anymore and who got RROD. Its well worth checking this out people.

Have no idea how to fix the E74 error, but the RROD alot of the time is very easy process to fix (not the silly towerl trick lol).

I'm thinking about that too. I would have moved on to a new system if it weren't for the PS3's high price and lack of games.xL33TxTALENTx

Exactly..Metal Gear Solid 4 and Killzone2 aren't enough to justify an overpriced purchase...

Alot of people know i am a huge MS supporter (own the xbox and xbxo360 and own 35+ games on 360 and about 25 for normal xbox), but these problems have really irritated me. It really sucks is you are out of warranty and the problems just happen way to much. 50% of my friends list have had problems, all my family/relatives have had problems with there 360s and alot of people online have aswell.

Ive owned every console since atari and nes and ive never had a system break this often. I take great care of my electronics nad music equipment and its just a pain to see these system be so un-reliable.

Best lineup of games maybe ever for a console the 360, but boy is it the most unreliable (only other sytem have had break on me was ps1 one time). MS better get there hardware problems better for next gen or i might not support them.

A fantastic amazing system (amazing games, best controller ever and best online ever), but hampered by hardware failures, thats the 360s story imo.

100% agree man. I switched over from PS2 which died once (so I bought two in total over five years) The xbox 720 (or whatever the title will be..) MUST be a solid console with no tech issues. And fully backwards compatible. They have the best game line-up...imagine the 360 was flawless! It would have buried the PS3 even more than it has!

Now that is an intellegent response! That makes sense, because why else would overheating a console make it function properly?

Place it horizontally, not vertically. Clip-on Nyko cooling fans in the back draw additional air OUT the back, not blowing it in against the fans, as some people have falsely stated. Place a small fan blowing in on the RIGHT side (grey slotted panel end that doesn't have the HD) so that cool air is forced in. You won't believe how much hot air is forced out the back! Does it work? I've had the same xbox360 since Aug 2006. Good luck.

Easily ........Oblivion IV: Elder Scrolls. 140 + hours, level 36 dark elf. Best RPG I've ever played. Although, I will be picking up Fable 2 soon!

yeah. i am thinking about getting a new hdd. the 20 gig is just not enough. I really don't want the 120 though. it is too expensive. beyond that i refuse to give MS any more money because i've now gone through 4 RRODs.

nice post though. Does the hdd come with the tranfer cable or do you still have to order it?

Call Microsoft. They will send you one for free.
