This is great. I haven't heard of loading the whole game on your hard drive. I have a 20gb pro withOUT HDMI, and runniing thru RGB with the Hi def switch turned on. It looks great on my 1080p Samsung 40"...just go into system pref and make sure console settings are at 1080p. I havent seen it with a new unit with HDMI but I'm sure it would be wicked!

Never had this happen. I am running the new operating system. My xbox 20gb Pro is a mid 2006 model though. Maybe its something with the new Falcon chip?

Hey bro. I've finished GOW2 Horde mode.... You have to have strategy, no heroes running off to get the most kills, Hardcore after round 19, it gets tough- unless u stick 2gether. If you want to hit me up- gamertag RIPP FIRE. Sometimes we play NO bullets, melee and grenades only(Normal difficulty).

Happy Holidays!

I've had my same 360 Pro (20gb LOL) since mid 2006, and my controller looks next to new. I've downloaded demos, expansion packs etc, and still have 7gb or so left. Ive had the original unit sent out once to Microsoft for repair. I'd highly recommend the Pro, for $299 its a great machine.

I would say that both games take advantage of their unique atmospheres. Dead Space with its high tech space-age surroundings coated in blood and flesh make for a spooky adventure. I thought the weaponry was well thought out; each weapon gives you a variety of gruesome kills. Not to mention the sound effects in 5.1 surround make it seem as though something is always crawling around behind you. I'm currently playing this title, and it is a highly recommended buy.

Bioshock has a more gripping storyline. Its use of Art-deco design re-enforces the fact that this game takes place in a past era. The characters are frenetic as htey run at you screaming in their blood-stained outfits. The weapons, items and save stations are unique and well though out. The old jazz music and creepy distant sounds make for a stunning atmosphere. If you passed on this one, pick it up as a platinum hit ( only $19.99 I think ) you won't go wrong.

I can't really choose one or the other, but I'd recommend both for your game library. These are the kind of games that you can finish, put away, and take out six months later-crank the difficulty, and re-live them again.

I recently had that problem with Oblivion. I went to a certain area of the game, and it froze. Listen to the laser in the xbox- does it have a hard time reading the disc when u get to that same area? Does it play your other games flawlessly?

I checked out my disc, and it had a fine concentric ring scratch (circular) which basically makes the game garbage. DO NOT at any cost, move the xbox with the power on. Maybe thats what scratched your disc. Try renting the same game and continuing from that save point. If it works, then its your disc....
