If anyone knows of a few strange/weird places in the game con tell me it's location?

Because it's so huge sometimes finding a place while you explore it's a prize, so if you know a place please tell me.

I have 100+ hours of gameplay and have seen in the screenshots of gamespot places i can't recognize

Does NES was the console that started the VG fever?

At least I think was the one that introduced almost a whole generation into playing VGs,

not saying that previous consoles didn't help.

Do you think the swords, blades and knifes in RPG´s need to be in almost every game?

Or new weapons should have more protagonism?

I like melee weapons, but I think there are mor things to explore than to fight robots, sorcerers, monsters, machine gun soldiers with a sword.

I love RPGs, but there are some things in the older games that I can't stand. And here they are;

Each character has his own inventory - It's so annoying having to shuffle around items and equipment, and also not being able to carry too much stuff.

Action menus - I can't just walk up that staircase, I have to go stand on it, bring up the action menu, and select "stair".

High random encounter rates when trying to solve a puzzle -:evil:

Flee commands that don't have a 100% success rate - This enemy just killed one of my guys in one hit, probably because I'm not supposed to be in this area yet. I'll just select "flee" and get the heck out of here. Oh, my flee attempt failed, and there's the Game Over screen. Wonderful...

Besides that, the need to level up, fighting a few hours and seeing if you have enough level to fight boss/enemies in the next area to investigate.

The best one IMO is Soul Reaver for PS, then soul reaver for PS2 is nice but not as it´s predecessor.

And the Blood Omen, I never find it as complex as the SR
